Maybe Club Glove can borrow the test tool for cross marketing.

There may have been a ding or two on those irons after 10000 drops. ;)

No, Ping irons are virtually indestructible. They could have drop that bag from 10,000 feet and they would have come through without a scratch. :D

What they should be testing is how much effort it takes to stuff clubs into that bag after the shafts get tangled. That's the primary reason why I stopped playing my Hoofer bag. ;)

I don't think anyone drops their bag like that...

You obviously don't have a 29 handicap like some of us... Some days I'm lucky if the bag lands right side up...

And there's nothing worse then slamming your bag down, just to have the clubs spill out all over the place... That just adds fuel to the fire...

That is the second test for side impact.

Ping damage story. Pissed buddy threw G10 wedge at his bag after a skull. Shaft bent, back to PING for new one, for about $50.

Moral of the story, buy a softer bag.

I have had times like that, but the bag didn't get the beating, I did. A little Woody Austin moment kinda helps. haha

Shaft tangle is definitely irritating. One of the reasons I'll be switching to a cart/staff bag when my current bag dies.

I had leg issues with my Ogio within a couple of months, I was pretty disappointed. Got a Sun Mountain (Titleist) bag now and it's holding up very well.

I had an orlimar bag I bought at walmart a few years ago and it has held the test of time. My Ping bag's legs droop and then the mechinism comes out of the legs sometimes and I have to fix it... I might look into the Sun Mountain bags. I had one in HS and it was pretty nice.

That's funny, I'm sure 100/100 golfers would tell you "Get rid of that Wal-Mart crap and get a good Ping bag."

For me, the mechanism that pushed the legs out popped out of alignment on my Ogio. I fixed it with some zip ties, but it wasn't quite the same.

Definitely check out Sun Mountain, the bags are light, legs are good, plenty of pockets...not much more to ask for. I did love the Woode top on the Ogio, but the 6 way top on the Sun Mountain is sufficient.

My current stand bag is an Izzo Scout, which I won in a contest. Not a mainstream product, but one of the lightest and overall best stand bags I have ever owned. Highly recommended!

Izzo makes the bags for several OEM's, I know Callaway specifically.

I didn't know that, but you're probably correct. I know their straps are popular.

Glad the Izzo is working out for you. Izzo bags are to Callaway as Sun Mountain are to Titleist, made by one company with another company's name on it.

Those MBP models are very heavy bags.

It has to be heavy when it has that rocket launcher/putter tube on the edge.

7.4 pounds

Less than the sq tour... by 0.1 lbs
