When Do You Normally Golf? (Times/Days)

Tend to prefer the morning shift as usually you can get your round in quickly, but during the heat of the summer, have found the evening shift, aka twilight is quite pleasant. Temperatures and humidity often better, still can play quickly and at a discount to boot.

I go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, in the early morning weekly.  I leave weekends for the working people for the most part unless I get an offer or I have a tournament.  Otherwise,  it pretty much stays on that schedule.

The guys I usually play with are the first groups off at our home course. During the summer our first tee time is 6:00 a.m., we are the dew sweepers of our course. On Sunday's I usually play early afternoon after church and play in a golf league during the week that usually tees off a bit before 5 p.m. I do prefer early mornings as we're not held up by any other groups, we usually have 12-16 total guys each Saturday morning and is great to be done by no later than 10 a.m. each Saturday.

I work shifts so it varies but prefer either late morning or late afternoon during summer as find these times are quieter

I golf Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 7:30 A.M. with about 12 guys, all retired. So we bought a weekday membership and saved some bucks.

I’m off work between 1:30 & 2:30 during the week and could go right after work Mon-Thur, I leave Friday open for my wife in case she wants to go do something. Teeing off at this time puts me in a window where I do not usually have to wait to tee off and most of the time I do not get hung up behind anyone. If I can tee off by 2pm, I can walk 18 and still be home by 5-5:30 just in time for supper.

Weekends are sunrise rounds. These are usually solo or maybe one other person and I generally tee off about 15-20 minutes before sunrise. Each of the courses that I play have a hole into the sun around sunrise and I try to get my tee shot off on those holes before it’s blinding me on the tee box.

Winterish Months (Dec-Feb) here in VA I will not tee off before 10am as I'm not a fan of anything below 50 degree haha.

Once the weather warms up about 65 ill start 7am and actually try to get 36 holes in most of the time.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning in my league.

Played golf for over 50 years until my health and business calendar reduced my time to less then 5 rounds a year. Then 4 years ago I retired, changed my diet and lifestyle, lost 100 pounds and got back on the course. Its been a struggle but things are getting better.

A retired weekday player here who loves to play as early as possible. Love when I am able to grab a slot in the first tee time. Nothing beats being a dewsweeper seeing and hearing all the wildlife still stirring about.

Work days, 9 holes at first daylight, 1-2 times a week, depending on how work allows.

Weekends, 1 round at first daylight, 9 or 18 holes depending on how family life allows..

I always play in the mornings, my backpain gets worse as the day go by...

Making sure to have 2-3 tee times booked ahead.

Offseason I play on a sim once a week before work.

Still working full time, and don't get off early enough most days to even go to the range. So, it's the weekends. Usually, I don't like playing prime time on Saturday, as the courses are packed, but if I do, it's a later tee time like 2pm, or even later in mid summer. Sunday afternoon is when I like to play, and again later in the day, as most players are done, except for a handful of us.. When I retire in the not so distant future, I will play more golf during the week, and maybe join a seniors league...

I belong to a semi private club with access to two different courses. Because I don't like playing on crowded courses I have a weekday membership Monday-Thursday, plus it's cheaper. We try to get out first thing in the morning. Usually one of the first tee times. The four of us are usually done within 3 1/2 to 4 hours

I usually play Wednesday mornings. I work 4 day work week with Wednesday being my day off. Get daughter on the bus at 7am and then can head out. I don’t usually play the same course all the time so what tee time is usually dependent on how far I have to drive.

I do get some rounds in on the weekend if my daughter goes to a friends house for the day or grandparents. I definitely prefer my Wednesday mornings as pace of play is much slower on the weekends.

I play in several groups and we play starting from 8am-9am , when I was still working on the occasional day off I would tee off early before 8 am so I could  get finished in 2 & 1/2 hours or so , then practice and have lunch and then off to my other chores , have always preferred mornings

Up until last week, I played midweek only,  generally in the mornings.

with 3 courses within 25 minutes, I almost never had to have a tee time.

Now that I have taken on a very part time role at a course, I will be able to squeeze 9 or 18 just about anytime before or after my shift there. During peak season,  this will be varying.

Once league starts, I play every Tuesday and Thursday evening.  On the weekends I play on most Sundays with my Dad's group and play a handful of scrambles thoughout the year on Saturdays.
