Guest-0
So what are some of your thoughts on "experienced golfballs" I found a page on FB that was selling slightly used brand name balls by the dozen and they sell them grades AAA AAAA AAAAA With the 5A being like new and ProV1s like I play were 18 a dozen for unblemished. 15 for AAAA and 12 for AAA so I ordered 2 dozen 5A and a dozen 3A well the 3A were junk and I hit those off my deck into oblivion but the 5A I swear had to have been hit once onto a pond they were perfect and I cannot tell anything is up with them at all, my buddy swears they are bleached and out of round blah blah and I will most likely explode from playing them?? Iam a 10 and play about 3 times a week and am sick of 55 bucks a dozen. Had anyone had an issues with these type deals??? I really can't tell the difference Quote WITB Driver is PING G430 MAX 10K 9° W/VENTUS BLACK 44.5" TOUR VELVET GRIP 3 WOOD TAYLORMADE M2 15° W/ADDI BB TOUR VELVET GRIP IRONS PING G410 4 AND 5 IRON W/X100 IRONS 6-9 PING I200 W/X100 WEDGES TITLEIST VOKEY SM8 48° CHROME VOKEY 52° 56° AND 60 ALL IN CHROME FINISH WITH DYNAMIC GOLD AND MCC+4 GRIPS SCOTTY CAMERON TOUR RAT GSS 350G MATADOR GRIP SUN MOUNTAIN C-130 CART BAG NIKON LASER TITLEIST PRO V
Bossfan
I usually get 4A when I order from Lostgolfballs. I’m like you prices are just to crazy. I have found the quality to be very good. Every once in a while I’ll hit one and it feels terrible so I get rid of but it’s not very often. I get new balls as a present and honestly I can’t tell if it’s a new or used ball except the rare occasion I get a bad one. I have never gone below the 4A balls but I’ve been happy with them. silver & black and Guest-0 1 1 Quote D- Tour Edge EXS 220 4W- Sub 70 949X Hybrid- Sub 70 949X Utility- Sub 70 699 U 21 degree Irons- Sub 70 749 5-PW Wedges- Sub 70 286 50+54, Tour Edge 1 out 58 degree Putter- Cleveland Huntington Beach soft # 11 Ball- Titleist Tour Soft
Guest-0
Yep I cannot tell the difference and I play up in Michigan at a couple clubs that are very tight and lots of water and woods then my home track in Florida is tons of water and mangroves so ball is gone and 5 dollar balls kind of get old I don't lose a ton but why pay 5 when I can pay 1.50 Quote WITB Driver is PING G430 MAX 10K 9° W/VENTUS BLACK 44.5" TOUR VELVET GRIP 3 WOOD TAYLORMADE M2 15° W/ADDI BB TOUR VELVET GRIP IRONS PING G410 4 AND 5 IRON W/X100 IRONS 6-9 PING I200 W/X100 WEDGES TITLEIST VOKEY SM8 48° CHROME VOKEY 52° 56° AND 60 ALL IN CHROME FINISH WITH DYNAMIC GOLD AND MCC+4 GRIPS SCOTTY CAMERON TOUR RAT GSS 350G MATADOR GRIP SUN MOUNTAIN C-130 CART BAG NIKON LASER TITLEIST PRO V
golfinnut
I never use 'experienced' balls. Unless they were 'experienced' by myself & are already in the bag. vamosjackets and GaryF 2 Quote WITB: Do I like Titleist or what? vamosjackets
I imagine the mygolfspy staff would recommend going with something like the Maxfli Tour (or Tour X), which performs on par with the expensive brands and scores on quality better than most of the expensive brands. If you get them on a deal from Dick's or Golf Galaxy, they come out to something like $25/dozen new. I think that argument does make the most logical sense, because it's impossible to really know what you're getting with the "experienced" balls. Why not get the new balls close to the same price that perform just as well. VernL4
As soon as you hit the ball the first time it becomes used... Yep, I can not stand to overspend on balls. I've bought used balls from Walmart and Academy Sports. They come in a square bucket of 50 balls. https://www.academy.com/p/pg-professional-golf-reload™-recycled-golf-balls-50-pack Maybe, just maybe, once in a while I hit one that feels off, but 99% of them are in "only hit once" condition. If you physically go to the store they have multiple brands to choose from. TaylorMade, Titleist, Maxfli. Edited February 17 by VernL4 Quote M6 clubs in the bag and a GARMIN Fenix 7 on the wrist! Yep I've seen those but unfortunately they don't come full of ProV1's or I would buy the buckets. Iam totally fine with the 16 bucks a dozen im paying and have yet to find a bad one. Yeah and the refinished means bleached and I don't want that at all. The guy I get them from sells them as is I mean he sprays them off but that's it. Thank you for that info! Guest-0 1 Quote M6 clubs in the bag and a GARMIN Fenix 7 on the wrist!
