I have a country club elite mat that I have been using for over 5 years.  Still in good condition.  Does not leave joints sore after hitting on it.

I bought the Country Club Elite mat in 2020. I'd agree with others. It is one of, if not the best mat I've ever hit balls on. I don't hit a million shots on it but have used regularly since. No real signs of wear and tear. It's firm enough to be realistic but not so firm that it causes sore joints.

Try this out. Seriously best I have tried and the price is amazing

Here is a pic of my kid standing on the mat. it is 5'x10' but  you cant see it all in the image.  I got mine for under $400 shipped plus they gave a me a veteran's discount.

It takes a regular tee, no fatigue, and poor strikes are punished accordingly.

I bought a used mat from a driving range, cut a hole in it and inserted one of these from Fiberbuilt

I also did the same thing with a country club elite hitting strip.

I don't care about the part I stand on and just need the part where I hit the balls to be good. Saved me a couple hundred bucks doing it this way.

Do any of you use your mat outdoors?  If so, do you leave it out at all times?

Primarily an indoor CCE user here: my garage floor is finished with a commercial-grade product (basically epoxy with some color flecks). One downside to the CCE is it slides under my feet over time as I'm hitting, even if I butt one side up against a wall or concrete step. I've thought about gluing some kind of tacky substance on the bottom to increase its grip to the floor, but it hasn't been annoying enough to take action.

I have left it outside in the past, and my only comment would be that the material that allows it to hold a tee also seems to hold a TREMENDOUS amount of water if it rains. I left it out in a storm once and I could barely lift the thing to flip and drain it. Maybe my desk-jockey arms are weak, but it was bad enough that I never leave it out anymore.

Hope that helps!

  • 4 months later...

I currently have the GoPro Elite Net (10x10) with the side nets (from costco).  I am getting ready to return it as I sold my launch monitor.  The net works really well and is really sturdy.  I would recommend it for anyone looking for a net, especially the costco version because it is $100 cheaper and comes with teh side nets included at no extra charge.
