Evening spies!  Long long day of gc duties, followed by a round of 9 holes with a good friend and coworker. 

I had been instrumental in keeping heads and necks cool today with an added duty of being a "towel boy" on top of my normal ranger Rob duties.  I assimilated this function to be similar to a cabana towel boy, but alas I was gravely mistaken! Apparently they are in fact NOT the same!

My bad! And apologies to the 20 something players who were served crisp refreshing iced hand towels by a 50-something male Marshall who was lacking a shirt!

Evening spies.. It's been a long one..13 hr shift followed by getting home to cut grass, add new clamps and hoses to the pool pump, getting chemicals out and ready from storage, and setting up patio furniture..I'm beat and ready for a shower and my recliner!

I could have used a cold pool dip anytime today!  Ot was 104⁰ out on the course!

My daughter is excited to get it back going for the summer.. I'm not.. a pool is a $$ sinkhole and those chemicals go up every year, but as y'all men know, whatever makes the family happy!

Father’s Day evening spies. Spent it sleeping, , and . all over the hotel bathroom as I was through a screen door. To say this was not your typical day is an understatement. I believe I got a bit of heat exhaustion yesterday. So now I’m sucking down pedialite and some pepto. I knew it was coming on and turned down golf this morning. That’s how bad it is. I mean projectile which I had to clean up the floor and walls of the bathroom all because I couldn’t get off the throne. Here’s to resting the rest of the night.

Despite strong rains today, i had so lovely morning with my little one on the beach. Later on gonna read some reviews on these phd writers https://ukwritings.com/phd-writers and see if i want to make an order from them. It is been a while since i have written something decent, so afraid that will be challenging for me.

Get some rest and get to feeling better quickly. The heat ain't no joke and isn't to be taken lightly.

Good evening gents. Hope everyone is having a great Father’s Day. Dinner is currently on the smoker. 

Two racks of ribs with Meat Church Honey Hog and the other with a blend of Honey Hog and VooDoo. Really don’t want to wait these out but alas, you can’t rush good BBQ. @Erin BI hope you feel better soon. Heat exhaustion is no joke. I have to be very mindful of it every time I caddy this time of year.

@Preeway those ribs look delicious! I just recently bought my first Meat Church seasoning, "The Gospel" and love it.

Meat Church is the only way to BBQ. I do use a few others on occasion but I love all things Meat Church. The Gospel is a great all purpose rub and is great with hamburgers!

Never heard of Meat Church but my interest is peaked!

@Erin B hope u feel better bud! 

For any young ppl reading this thread that might live up north, it's getting hotter and hotter up that way, if u get to hot DO NOT JUMP INTO THE AC.. Find a shade and water and cool down gradually.. You would be surprised at the number of ppl we see have a heat stroke down here bc of this reason

I hadn't either until I was looking online at recipes for my griddle and came across their channel on YouTube. I'm always looking for different seasonings and I would recommend them.

Glad to see Bryson win today over Rory. Hanging out with some family friends for lunch was relaxing. Tomorrow starts finals week for part 1 of the class that I'm in so I'm expecting to have my nose deep in a computer this week, but I've grasped the material well and I don't see myself having too many issues.

We have a few grill geniuses out at the work sites.. I’ll have to ask them what they know about, Meat Church… Had pork steaks with a jalapeño/garlic honey glaze last night… I was planning on not liking it. I turned out to be as wrong as wrong could be, about not liking the glaze.

Good evening all!

Just finished watching the end of the US Open. I'm actually very happy for Bryson for getting a win after contending in every major this year. He has completely turned around in my eyes and I find myself rooting for him nowadays vs. rolling my eyes at his behavior.

That being said, Rory handed him that win, in my opinion. Three bogeys in the last four holes including two missed putts under four feet is just unacceptable for someone of his caliber. Not sure how he'll recover from that mentally. Bryson's bunker shot on 18 was incredible though - talk about clutch!

Anyways, had a great day otherwise. Went to pickup some new Maxfli Tour X golf balls this morning, which are going to be the gamer for most of the summer. Excited to see how they perform compared to the other top brands. 

We also got invited to a friend's house to celebrate their first Father's Day with their four month old son. Had some homemade steak tacos and a few adult beverages. Low key night ahead before getting back to work tomorrow.

Did I miss what the ruler of the mighty kingdom purchased @Dead Solid Bogey ?

 

Evening spies, started my new squad rotation and have to say so far I think we are all going to mesh well. 

Wife snuck a fathera day card with a $ 50 dicks sporting goods gift card inside my duty bag, so I'm pretty happy about that.

Surprisingly I'm also not on any golf course duties until this weekend,  so I may get to actually play 18 holes this week !  

Will be wrapping up the stix test as well over the next week too.  So get in there and ask some questions please!

Well admittedly… Being able to claim the 8-10 individuals that regularly beat me like a rented mule at golf as dependents on my taxes has helped this fragile, sensitive, elderly old man stay somewhat financially viable.

Her high highness just picks… She leaves the dirty job of actually paying, purchasing  to us lowly worker drone types…I’ll find out what the vehicle is; that has tickled her fancy, when I get back to the “ Dark Kingdom “ late tomorrow night or early Tuesday morning. Good evening Spies on this warm and getting hotter Michigan Sunday.

Exciting finish to the US Open, although Rory kind of gift wrapped it with the missed short putts. Can't imagine the pressure he must have felt or been under, knowing it was so close after a 10 year wait.

Great for the viewers, and Bryson seemed to finally have found some humility and graciousness as he seemed genuine appreciative of the efforts of others for his success today.

Spent a little while at the range earlier this morning, then dinner with my daughter and SWMBO. Son, daughter-in-law both had to work, and grandson was dropped off at her parent's house today.

@Erin B hope you get better sooner than later and learn a lesson about the heat exhaustion as well.

@Preeway food looks awesome, and thanks for the pointers for preparation.

@Dead Solid Bogey thank you for the enlightenment or advice on some tax deductions I may have previously missed. 

@Michael.Sandoval33 best of luck with finals this week.

Also, I'm clearing out some head covers. 

Hope everyone got through their Monday today with ease!  I'll try to catch up in the next hour, as the site will be down for maintenance!
