Roger Sorry I didn’t elaborate, was at my son’s birthday party. I was in a Ventus blue Xstiff and I was hitting it well, but not as well as I should be. The Jupiter 1 shaft was introduced to me by @Derek Eskam. I’d seen them and had talked about them with other golfers. Most didn’t know about them but a few had tried them when the first version came out. Steadfast must of had a quality issue because the first version was troubled. Derek bought an Xstiff current version last year and he let me try it. First swing was straight down the fairway. I bought one after that. I went with stiff because of Steadfast recommendation. They are like a + shaft. So my stiff shaft was a stiff+ kind of like Project X LZ shafts. The shaft was exceptional! I bought the rest of the ones I have because of it. They must have fixed the quality issue because I’ve had zero issues with them. Im looking at the TSR4 and when I buy that club I am ordering the steadfast Jupiter 1 for it. It’s very similar to the Tensi Black 65 stiff, only better. For $100 bucks, it’s worth a try. The only issue is they only come with standard size grips. I’m in a midsize so I re-grip them when I get them. Quote I could play golf every day and learn something new each time. I have 4 shafts, and my golf buddy has a couple himself. I did hear that they had problems a few years ago, but no problems with me. I ordered my shafts last season and have used them ever since. I am reviewing the Newton shaft, but so far for me, I prefer the Jupiter 1 shaft. Not even close. 03trdblack 1 Quote I could play golf every day and learn something new each time. cnosil
Since @Erin Bhas provided his positive review, I’ll give my opinion. Over the years steadfast has not received good reviews on golf forums. Obviously, some people are happy with the shafts, but Based on reading past reviews I would not do business with the company as I believe I could find an older shaft that works for me from a more reputable company in the same price range. Again I have no experience with the actual shafts TJ Hall 1 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: Paradym AI Smoke Max HL 16.5* w/MCA TENSEI AV Series Blue Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Render w/VA Composites Baddazz Backup Putters: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe, Milled Collection RSX 2 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017 Link to comment

Again I have no experience with the actual shafts To each their own. There are companies I won't do business with as well, based on my own experiences with them. But I researched the company and asked some fellow golfers (I have a buddy in Florida who had mixed results with the Jupiter shafts a few years ago, he is close to their headquarters) about the company. Again, mixed reviews. When I got to hit the shaft that Derek bought, I was sold on the shaft. The Jupiter 1 shaft fits my golf swing and I have had very good success with it. I like it over the Ventus Blue, over the Newton I am currently testing, and over the Tensei 1K Black but the Tensei is a very close second. I haven't had to deal with any negative results with the shaft or the company so I can't speak on their customer service other than what I have dealt with. Who knows @Jeff Drone you may try this shaft and hate it. That's a risk we all have with DTC companies. I just bought new irons from a DTC company in January with shafts I have never played before, but I took a risk that I would like them. So far so good. Good luck in your search for a shaft that fits your swing. I have mine for the forseeable future. Just got done at the sim, still hit the steadfast better than the Newton. I was hitting the 5 and 6 today. I noticed that they're just a tad too long for me. There's only a half inch difference but I am hitting the ball high on the face and closer to the heel. I am talking to Angelo and seeing what he wants to do next. I am hoping that tipping the shaft and shortening it will make it all better. I hit the 6 best out of the three shafts the way they are set up right now. My swing speed is coming back, reached 104 today, and was consistent at 101-102. It takes a second to get the cobwebs out. I had my pro with me and he pointed out that I hit down more in the sim than on the course. Sim woes, I wrote a post about it. We played 13 holes and he kicked my rear by 8 strokes, even with my birdie on the first hole. We were just messing around having fun. I did swing the Paradym and the BRNR and even the 3 wood very well so I am excited about that. The 425 was a close second, and I never have been real good with that. But I think it likes the Newton shaft a little better than the 410. The BRNR and 3 wood had steadfast Jupiter 1 plus shafts in them. I put the Xstiff stock Ping shaft back in the 425. I am cross posting this to the Newton review. Quote I could play golf every day and learn something new each time.
