Johnnyrogs
Had I not been a total dummy on the last hole, I would have broken 80 for the first time. That and if I 3 putted a few less times (gir 3 putt bogeys are sickening and I had at least 3 of them) but the 9 I put up on the 18th didn't help either and I rounded out with a 91. Still a career best and I struck it so well with irons/wedges, driver let me down on the back and I couldn't make a putt to save my life. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Its amazing how we can play the same exact game and one day it just feels easy and the next not 1 single thing goes well. put up a mondo 54 last night. doesn't help when you hit 3 off the tee 4 of your first 5 holes, even worse when you hit 5 off the tee. Driver struggles continued, but have now changed shape to a low pull hook so after a few holes of nonsense I went 4i off the tee. Did manage to par both par 3s, so at least i've got that going for me. This was also coming off less than 4 hours sleep the night before so I'm just going to burn it from my memory and really try to pull something great outta the sky this weekend, as I get to play one of the nicer private clubs in the area this weekend. cksurfdude 1 Quote R15 10.5 aldila Rogue Silver 60S XR 16 3W JPX 825 3H 19° RSi1 irons 4-AW MD3 54° S5 58° X7M
MDGolfHacker
Played in my men's league yesterday. Everything was working.. Everything except the dang putter😡 Couldn't hit a putt to save my life. ole gray
I shot 40 on the front with two triples = . 44 on the back for an 84 for the day. The good thing is I had three birds today but the bad thing was, I had too many aw shats to score well. The other good thing I was hitting my King F6 driver really well today! The other bad thing is I probably thinned 75 percent of my iron shots which is odd for me. My irons are generally the best part of my game. Not today... TheWahoo
Yesterday, my buds and I played River Marsh in Cambridge, MD, course we play often. As my Maryland fellow spies will attest, I hate and dread the 17th hole. It is a rather long par 3 with a total carry over water. Normally, I take my 5 and move on to the 18th tee. Yesterday, I birdied that sucker. Unfortunately, I'm rather sure that it will get its revenge the next time I play it. Kor.A.Door
42/43=85, hit 12/14 fairways couldn't hit a green for anything, hit some good shots, and way to many bad ones, putted pretty well although nothing really went in, I stroked the putt on the line I was aiming, but nothing really went in. Missed the green from inside 100 yards on 3 holes on the back nine. I did figure out what I was doing wrong, standing way to close so I couldn't get through, missed a lot to the left as a result. Just need to back off the ball slightly and allow myself to swing through the ball. josmi15, MattF and cksurfdude 3 Quote Lefties are always in their Right Mind

MrWellingtonINC
Well I shot an 84 on Saturday which is excellent for me, so my expectations were high yesterday. I went to the first tee and it was extremely windy, and i hit a 3 hybrid well, with the wind, it had the flight i was looking for, nice little draw just to the left of the fairway, I watched it the whole way through, and I couldnt find the ball. i looked for legitimately probably 20 minutes and I covered so much ground and had to have walked back and forth over it 10 times and never found it which obviously had me frustrated, and it got into my head. I proceeded to play probably the worst 9 holes of my season. It is haunting me. I need to improve my mental toughness. cnosil, Big money and MattF 3 Quote Mizuno MP59 - KBS Tour -standard length and Lie (flex, length/lie) Nike Vapor Fly - 8.5* Stiff Right Handed Buffalo Grove 15 HCP
