Kor.A.Door
We played in the MGA championship this morning, 2 flights, champ flight from the tips, and 2nd flight from the blues. The tips play around 7000 yards. Worst day to play the back tees, it was 35 degrees at the start, so the ball was going nowhere. Started out ok, I was 2 over through 5, and striped a drive on 6, had 260 in to the par 5, tried to hit hybrid, bad shot went about 45 yards, had 215 hit another hybrid, hooked it into the trees. Took a drop put it on in 5, then 3 putted. Then choked on seven for another 8, ended with a 47 on the front, then the back nine shot 41, on 18, I parred my second ball for a double. yungkory
It rained hard all over the island last night so everything was soggy and we teed off at 8am. Cart path only today so if you were in the right side of the fairway, you were enjoying a walk. Playing partner literally swung out of his shoes on the 2nd hole, he walked away from the tee box, and the sole of his shoe stayed, it was hilarious, they just completely separated from the upper part of the shoe. Had to drive back to the clubhouse so he could buy a pair. Lucky there was a club behind us playing a 5 some so we just drove to our tee shots after he got his new kicks. Fairways reopened on the back 9 thanks to the hot Hawaiian sun. Shot a bad 41/44 for 85 with a snowman on the back 9. Had 5 or 6 decent looks at birdie but couldn't hole them, and I 3 putt bogeyd 3/4 par 3s. Also drove one about 280 to be 50 yards out on a short par 4 and skulled my 60 over the green and OB. The Mizunos were absolutely on fire, but need to do more work with the new driver shaft to get used to the stiffer bend profile. Also forgot to mention, we played with our entire 6-man company, and 2 friends. First time we all got to play together, even though we had to separate into two groups, it was great. Rickp
Got out for our Monday 18 hole group @ Belle Glade. Shot 41-41 smooth 82. Oddly got off tee and approach shots OK but putting was poor. Used the Odyssey 7 Oworks and distance was OK but had problems with the line, NO 3 jacks or doubles. Missed a few birdies that should have no problem but it is what is is. Rusty1885
Played a very slow round yesterday 3:15 mins front nine alone and 2:30 mins back nine. I had 9 birdies, 2 back to back and the rest were every other holes. Here's the twist, I bogey and doubles the rest. Ended up shooting 76. So I either one putt or 3 putt every hole. One minute was a stud the next I was a dud. One hole knock my approach to a tap in, then it took 4 shots to get on the green the next hole. Luckily we played in front of the beer girls, they were out playing after their event was over. They couldn't play to save their shoelaces but no one complained we're all enjoying their presence. Secretly, I'm sure all the guys were betting when their tight shorts will burst every time the move. Rickp

Sluggo42
73 And if I didn't have this darn 2-ball putter I might have been a few lower. Really starting to get the swing dialed in now, with a shorted backswing, and a strong follow through- think Jon rahm Load right instep on backswing, and transfer to left at impact. No loss of distance and dare I say, perhaps a small gain? It feels like a half backswing, but my bud says it's a 3/4. Much more controlled, very slight draw, piercing flight. Greens were terrible, recently over seeded and fuzzy an sand covered. 2 three putts and I rarely 3 putt. 1 birdie and missed 2 birdies that were caused by the bad conditions of the greens.
