DrMJG
A little cool and a few drops falling. Played forward tees (5578). Score 87, 10 penalties mainly on back 9 due to fatigue, sending a few swimming. 8 Par, 5 bogies, 5 doubles. 64% Fairways, 5 GIR. Good solid drives and short irons today. Penalties were a result to simply over swinging. CarlH
Struggling with my swing lately. Totally out of sync. Time to get back to the basics and find my swing again. Shot an 89 yesterday...just couldn't stop the bleeding....the more I tried, the worse it seemed to get. Sluggo42
With the recent rains here in SoCal, scoring hasn’t been easy. But, it’s still fun! But sometimes you don’t get the bounce you’re hoping for, and sometimes, you don’t get any bounce at all! This shot was a 135 yd 9 iron that was about 2 feet off the green. My buddy was watching the ball flight with me and it was so weird because the landing spot was just about an inch lower than the line of sight, due to a small ridge. We both watched it land, and waited to see where it ended up, but it just vanished! We looked at each other and said, “what the heck?” Then we found it sucked up in the mud, almost flush with the ground... ”winter rules” haha Rickp, sirchunksalot, mr.hicksta and 5 others 8 Quote TSr2 on tensi blue stiff Speedzone 3-wood on Tensi blue S Epic Max 5 and 7 woods on HZRDUS Reg flex Paradym 9 wood on HZRDUS reg flex P770 / P790 combo set on Ventus R-6 shafts 6-AW T22 Denim Copper 54°, 58° on Kinetic X Trajectory ER3 or, E.A.S. #4 (“Fang” or “Adele”) ProV1x, or, Maxfli Tour X .Org 14 cart bag Adidas Tour 360 , or Sketcher shoes

fixyurdivot
8 of us made our annual overnight trip to Emerald Canyon GC in Parker, AZ this past Mon/Tue. I had a 37/43 on Monday and a 42/42 on Tuesday that included an quadruple and double bogey. On several holes, I opted to forgo the hero tee shot and used my 3w to reduce the dangers. That worked out very well and I probably should be doing this more frequently. There is a driveable par 4 on the back nine that was one of the holes I chose to use the 3w. Both days, the group egged me into hitting another ball to see if I could get there... missed left and red stake on day 1 and made the fringe day 2 . The course was in fantastic shape and the weather very good. The stay at the Bluewater Casino was fun as always. If you ever find yourself in the area, it's a really fun track with a handful or "here goes nothing" tee shots with narrow chutes to get through and just a sky horizon with no idea what's over the crest . sirchunksalot, THEZIPR23, fozcycle and 3 others 6 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review) AI-One Milled Seven T CH (Currently Under Product Test)

Peaksy68
6 over playing off 8, pretty unexpected after not playing for a couple of weeks due to work and back issues, and having my work Christmas party last night. Drove the ball well, irons were the best I've struck them in a long time. For a change my problem was hitting the ball too far with my irons. Putted pretty well. Highlights were a Sand Wedge to 3 inches from 94 yards, and a 330 yard drive after hitting the perfect line to catch a steep slope and then roll a long way. Ended up winning A grade.
