MrBandit
Played yesterday, to test out the new Cobra SZ driver on the course and it was a struggle until the last 6 holes, when I finally started to hit it well and getting what I was somewhat expecting, Need to do a little more work to fine tune it. But the Irons where fantastic, stroke them well and putting was on point, they were going where I was aiming . Struggles came from butchering the first 3 par 3s really, no excuses, I sucked . 5 Doubles and 3 of them where on par 3s. Stupid game.. lol. StrawberryShortCake
Played last night after work and got paired with a stranger. Usually when I play with someone I don't know i'm kind of nervous for the first couple holes. but last night was great. Doubled the first hole which is usual when i don't warm up. After the front 9 it was too dark to keep playing. I got 4 pars and a birdie was one of the best rounds I have played this year. artful_golfer, MattF, PMookie and 6 others 9 Quote Driver: Rogue Sub Zero 9* stiff Wood: Tight Lies TI 3 wood stiff Hybrid: XR 3 19 deg stiff Irons: JPX 900 Tour std loft/lie Wedges: 52,56,60 Putter: #7 Red Ball: Q-Star 12.9 Handicap Comox Valley, B.C. Tom the Golf Nut
I'm on a road trip to NY to visit family. Got to play Wednesday and today with my Brother-in-law. It's been a few years since we played together. We had a great time. I shot in the 70's both rounds on an unfamiliar course so I was happy about that. We played Stony Ford in Montgomery NY. Course was in good condition, greens were a much slower than I'm used to. The layout of the course was anything but normal. You had to tee off playing for 200 yard shots on about 9 of 18 holes. Lots of dog legs, a par 5 that had to be played 200, 200 and approach due to design, and one 200 yard par 3. I wasn't a fan of the layout but it still was a good two days on the course. . artful_golfer, MattF, Kenny B and 3 others 6 Quote Driver, TSi 1 S Flex 3 wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 5 wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 7 Wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 5 Hybrid King Tec MMT R Flex Irons, Tour UST Recoil 95 R Flex (6 - Gap) Wedges, Snakebite KBS Hi- Rev2.0 54* & 60* Agera 35" Ultralight 14-way Cart Bag

Popular Post revkev
Well I can’t do a Jmike but at 63 inched towards my goal of shooting my age and carded a meager 72. Came to our last hole - number 9, one over, needed a birdie, told my group that on the tee. That tee couldn’t have been in a worse spot for me - on one side I have the world, integrity side we were on I have trees blocking my draw. Hit a high hook that just managed to stay on the left side of the fairway because it’s wet. Hit a 9 iron to 10 feet from 128 and holed the putt up the hill.Just to make jjmike feel great one of our Pros who is caught just outside the Korn Ferry and shot a course record 61 from the tips.Oh and this course used to host PGA tour events back in the days of Sneed, Hogan and Nelson - they all played there and 63 was the former recorder. Siamese Moose
My league has cancelled for the year, but tonight most of us met for some social golf. I've been pretty bad lately, so I have a lesson plan starting next week, and I guess that's all it took. I had my best ever 9 hole score tonight, 34 (par 35), though not my best differential. It could have been so much better. Started with five straight 3's, then played an approach intentionally short to a front pin that hit a sprinkler head and rocketed into the woods for a double. Had two close calls on birdie on the last three holes, but all pars. Still upset about one bounce, but very happy overall. sirchunksalot, cnosil, MattF and 4 others 7 Quote Moose, my cat, is Siamese
gavinski91
Got a quick after-work 9 in with my dad. Driver was hit or miss (3/5 fairways) but better than earlier this week when it went 2/7. Played 5-iron off the tee a few times and was very happy with the results, rolled out about 205 yards on hole 5 - I think a driving iron would be a great fit in my bag. Was really struggling to get the feel for the putter though. Definite highlight was my short game. I felt like I was throwing darts with my 52° CBX wedge. Every single shot from inside 105 yards hit the green (a couple rolled off onto the fringe). I only had to chip twice during the entire 9 holes - once on a par 3 where I pushed my 7i right, and once from a poor lie on the fringe. With the way my game is developing, I feel like breaking 90 this summer is a very strong possibility. cnosil, Josh Ross, cksurfdude and 3 others 6 Quote Driver - Radspeed XB, Aldila Rogue Silver 70-S 3 Wood - Radspeed, Aldila Rogue Silver 70-S 5 Wood - Radspeed, Fujikura Motore X F3 6-S 7 Wood - 0341x Gen 4, Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw Blue 75-S Irons - Pro 225 4-5, 223 6-PW, KBS $-Taper 120 Wedges - King Cobra Snakebite 52° & 58°, KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 S Putter - Stroke Lab Black Ten 35" Ball - Chrome Soft X LS Powered by 2020 ExPutt Official Review | 2021 Cobra Connect Five Participant | 2023 SuperSpeed Official Review

I had a handful of pars and birdie tries, but my misses were massive today and the penalty strokes escalated things quickly. I was so hopeful after last week, but looks like I need a bit more range and/or course time to really get things together. Why do I love this game? lol That's too bad. You was hitting the ball well last week on the back 9..but this is why we are not professionals. cksurfdude, MattF and TR1PTIK 3 Quote Driver: TaylorMade Qi10 MAX - 8.5 with Fujikura Speeder NX TCS 50 (secondary shaft HRDZ Black 6.0 Stiff) 3 -Wood: Sub70 949x 3 Wood 15 with Hrdz RDX Black Stiff 5-Wood: Sub70 949x 5 Wood with Hrdz RDX Black stiff 4-Hybrid: Sub70 949x 4 Hybrid with Project X 5.5 Hybrid Stiff Irons: Mizuno Pro 225 - 6-PW , w/Nippon Modus 105 Stiff Wedges: Sub70 TAIII w/Nippon Modus 105 Stiff - 50 ,56, 60 Putter: L.A.B Mezz1, 34 in Balls: MaxFli Tour X, TaylorMade Tour Response, TaylorMade TPx GPS: Shot Scope X5 with Tracking TESTED: SUB70 949X 5 Wood TESTED: NIPPO N.S. bens197
76 at my home course for a friends Birthday. Started the day throwing darts. 1&2 hit approaches that were inside 3’ and didn’t convert either to stay at even par. I had 8 looks at birdie today inside ten feet and made 3 of them. 2 doubles, 3 birdies, 8/14 fairways and 10/18 greens with 32 putts. Good day. Similar to Supartz that’s a 5 shot. It helps somewhat. I saw my X-rays Wednesday and I can tell replacement is in my future.
