7 Fairways, 11 greens, 33 putts.  4 bogeys, 1 double, 2 birdies   40/36:76.    Pitching practice paid off as my short game shots were much better.  Also started to incorporate target selection based on the DECADE system.

no standout holes or shots really  

a couple of really good chips early on got me rolling and saved a couple of bogeys from being doubles or worse. then i played a long stretch of holes where i just hit fairways and greens. 

i remember thinking that the course is a lot shorter when you’re not walking from woods to woods across the fairway haha

Great round! That's a great way to end the season, you didn't just beat your best round...you destroyed it.

Mid December and 70 degrees. Closed the year out with a good round. 78 that could’ve, would’ve, should’ve been a 74. A horrible double and 2 back to back 3 putts. Probably the last legit nice day for a while.

62 degrees today and i was able to get in 15 holes this afternoon.  Sorta disappointing with two doubles and a bogey on the front and nothing but bogeys on the back 6 that we got done.

85 today with 9 greens. Man what could’ve been. OB on a par 5 and water ball on par 3. Both retee would’ve been pars. Also missed many birdie putts. Could’ve been in the 70s for sure. I guess next round. One plus. Tsi3 driver had a few over 300 today which felt good.

Crazy beautiful day here (Sunday, 12/13) - then dropping into the 30s tonight and staying there all week - with a possible blizzard on Weds

Got out for 9 and .. after the first hole disaster .. hit some decent golf shots and played fairly well, but .. .. I'm not scoring any better (in fact a little worse than average today).... 

But hey the swing and the short game are showing some improvements and I'll keep taking lessons and practicing through the Winter.

After a morning snowfall it warmed up to 34º and the couple had planned to play with called; it is his birthday, so we headed out at 1pm and played 9 holes.  My wife and I walked to stay warmer, and since no one was on the course, we played the back nine because it's much flatter!!  Shot a +2 round of 37.  My highlight was a 40 foot birdie putt on the par 3 #12 hole that was slightly downhill 3/4 of the way, then dropped off to a lower level of the green.  Both the guy and his wife also made birdies on that hole; hers was a tap-in.

I have never seen so many birdies fly in 9 holes before.  The guy birdied the previous hole #11, so 4 birdies in our group in 3 holes.  Sadly, none of us birdied the par 5 #13, but she birdied the par 4 #14 after driving the green.  Then the guy birdies the par 3 #15.  His wife and I both birdie the par 3 #17 hole, so we had a total of 8 birdies, 6 of them on par 3's.  The best part... for every birdie we had shots of rum.  Well, it was his birthday!!

I'm really happy for you. I have a feeling you're going to look back on today as the round when your game went to another level.

For the first time ever, I won the Kinderlou Forest Dogfight, with an even par 72.  10 pars, 4 birdies, and 4 bogeys.  And hey, it only took me about 18 months to win the dogfight.

Finally played again- after Going +3 after 3, I settled down for a 75, which I was very happy with as there was a 3 club wind - it was so windy I had to play without my hat! 
crazy windy! I dunno whats up with all this wind weve been having here. 
I played with a really cool youngster who I played with like a month or three ago. He is a pro drummer who is still out of work because of covid- poor guy...

Got 9 in B4 rain starts, Cloudy, overcast 57*.
Shot a weird 42. Hit 6 pf7 fareways with the TSI2 driver. Driver is long enough to stay with or past other 3 guys in group.
We had a serious discussion about moving up a Tee Box with everyone over 70. We played the last hole from the next Tee and was a big difference instead of a 5hy I was hitting 9i. Same with other guys.

I continue to play Dr. Jeckel/ Mr. Hyde golf. Will par 3 in a row. Then double 2 in a row. Throw in a couple bogeys. Par a couple more. Triple one. Par a couple again. Well you get the idea!

Very cold on the front side, but the sun came out nicely on the back.  Fairly pleased with my ball striking today (for the most part).  Shot a 40/40 with a double on both sides.  First double was on par 3 when I came hard out of the wet sand and 3 putted.  On the back, I hit a bad drive into trees and punched out. 4th shot buried itself into the side hill of the trap (par 5) and I barely got it out.

84 - 42/42. Front 9 was good and I started feeling confident. A couple of bad decisions resulted in 2 doubles on the front.

Made the turn and was even on the back through 14. +1 going into 17. As I was standing on the 17 tee (at +7) the dumb thought of if I went par, par I would break 80. I proceeded to triple, double to close out the round.

Although it was a bad finish, I’m happy with my game and my confidence is growing. For any No Laying Up fans, I flew too close to the sun and got a taste of Icarito.
