They can be useful when practicing if they are in the right place to see if you move correctly or not. They can also be annoying when they are in the wrong place. One of the many "obstacles" we golfers have to learn to deal with. 5 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
Grand Stranded
Went out with two of my neighbors today, and on a lark, I took out the DF2.1 and put the White Hot OG Double Wide back in the bag. I think it might stay there for a while. I’m putting well with the LAB, but I still feel like there’s an issue making sure it’s soled properly. I’ve said this from the day my putter came, and nothing has changed. I’m convinced the lie angle I was fit to was wrong. I can manipulate it to where it should be, but… why bother? I own another putter that works very well. With the OG my setup is simple. I just set it down, look at the line and go. As we take a practice swing, thinking about the shot before addressing the ball, it’s not always apparent. Then when addressing the ball is sometimes the first time one notices the shadow. When that happens, step back, recollect your focus then readdress. It's actually very rare that balls are hit into the range from the course; I don't see white (or other colors) balls mixed in with the yellow range balls. The range is between #9 and #10 and the only way they could get there is if a golfer hits a 50-yard pull hook off the tees. However, #10 is littered with yellow balls from the range from all the slicers... it's hzrdus!! 6 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Popular Post Golfspy_TCB
I was able to get out for a quick yesterday after work... Didn't have the best ball striking day... but still managed to shoot +2 (38). My most memorable hole was a pull hook off the tee into the trees that ended up next to the perimeter fencing... had to punch out by setting my club at about 1/2 a back swing - outside my normal path due to the fence. So no backswing, just started from a set position, and threaded the needle between two trees into the middle of the fairway with 120 left. Hit a 3/4 flighted 9 iron to six feet and rolled in the putt for par. Hope to get back out this evening for another 9 :). 12 Quote Titleist TSR3 9* (A2 setting) Driver - Otto Phlex PLB 45 "L" Srixon ZX 3W & 5W Titleist TSi2 5 Hybrid TaylorMade Stealth 5-PW Titleist Vokey SM9 50-08, 54-10 & 58-08 Scotty Cameron Special Select Newport 2.5 Maxfli Tour / Titleist AVX

A.Your ball is in what the Rules call “temporary water.” You may play your ball as it lies or take free relief. You take free relief by finding the nearest point of complete relief where you are clear of the puddle and then drop your original ball or another ball away from the puddle and within one club-length of that point not nearer the hole (see Rule 16.1b). You may also take relief from a puddle of water if your ball is in a bunker or on the putting green (see Rule 16.1c for the bunker or Rule 16.1d for the putting green), but you do not get relief from a puddle inside a penalty area. 3 Quote WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ... ..PXG Gen5 0811XF (PX EvenFlow Riptide CB 50/5.0 or Grafalloy Prolaunch Blue 45/A) ..Callaway Bertha Mini 1.5 (UST ProForce V2-HL 5/F3) ..Callaway Rogue ST Max OS 4H (PX Cypher Black 50/5.0) ..Callaway Big Bertha 5H (Recoil ZT9 460/F3) ..PXG 0211 6i-GW (Mitsubishi MMT 60/A) ..Cleveland CBX2 54 and CBX 60 (Rotex graphite) ..EvnRoll ER5 or MLA XDream (..Edel EAS 4.0 on the bench) ..all in a Datrek bag on an MGI Zip Navigator electric cart. Popular Post fozcycle
For my third and final round this year at Hilton Head, I chose to replay the course that ate my lunch.....CC of Hilton Head. This time I challenged myself to play all White Tees (6,162 yds). That is a tall drink of water from the usual 5400 yds I play at home, I added a 3W to my bag at the last minute before we left (Bombtech 3W w/Regular shaft). Surprisingly, I hit it pretty darn good, mostly straight about 185-200 yards. Today, I shot a 44/44:88......5 strokes better than Tuesday when I played the White/Green combo for 5833 yards. FIR 10/14 for 71%; 3 GIR for 17% and 34 Putts. Today my flatstick was off a tad as I watch putt after putt grab the edge and roll on by. I only had 12% Up & Downs. The course plays very tough 71.8/138 from the White Tees but I knew a bit more about the layout so I could choode to layup and avoid the water hazards. 14 Quote Driver: 0211 w/Evenflo Riptide CB Regular shaft & 0811 XF w/Evenflo Riptide CB Senior shaft Fairways: 0211 5W & 7W w/ Evenflo Riptide CB regular shaft and Tour Edge E521 9W w/Fubuki HD50 regular shaft Hybrid: None in bag at the moment Irons: Titleist T300 5-PW w/Fubuki MV Senior graphite shafts w/Golf Pride Tour Wedges: Titleist T300 48* GW w/Fubuki MV Senior shaft and Edison forged 53* and 57* wedges with KB PGI Senior shafts(80 grm).
