yungkory
Well I followed up that 75 with a horrible front 9 followed by a decent back 44/39 8/14 FiR 3/18 GiR 29 Putts Had an issue blocking shots to the right today, and the first tee shot started it all. Triple on the first because I couldn't find my tee shot in the trees, followed by a double 2 holes later put me further over par after 4 holes than my entire previous round. 3 lost balls didn't help for sure. Got tired and my back started getting stiff, crazy because I only took one week off from the usual walking round. Oh well, maybe that 75 was just a lot of lucky shots after all 7 Quote Driver: Rogue ST Max LS Tensei AV Blue S 3w/5w: TSi2 Tensei AV Raw Blue S 4h: CLK 22* Hybrid Tensei CK Pro Blue 80HY S Irons 5-PW: 223 Steelfiber PR 95 S Wedges: RTX Zipcore Tour Rack 50, 54, 58 Steelfiber PR 105 Putter: L.A.B. juspoole
I actually got out a lot this week. Shhhh......don't tell the wife. Played 9 on Monday over lunch and again on Wednesday. Then my boss asked me to play yesterday and we ended up playing 18. I mean it was my boss so I was technically working if you think about it. All three days, were very positive from a ball striking perspective. Made a slight grip change and a small change to my takeaway that seem to be working very well. Putting still needs some work. Monday 9 Holes Score: 39 (1 double bogey - approach was just slightly pushed, but you cannot miss where I did and it went in hazard by green) Fairways: 3 but all were no more than 5 yards off fairway on misses Greens: 7 Putts: 18 Wednesday 9 Holes Score: 37 Fairways: 4 (Huge Break on Par 5 that went into right trees and came back in fairway) Greens: 3 (was a bit off on approaches) Putts: 13 (Lower number mainly due to good chip shots and tap ins) Thursday 18 holes Score: 75 37/38 (White only tees out - but played mix yardage as some were in typical back tee range) Also didn't have driver in bag Fairways: 6/13 (2 that were inches off fairway) Greens: 9 Putts: 31 (Fair day) Edited June 5, 2020 by juspoole 8 Quote Driver: Mavrik Sub Zero 9* (Set to 10) Ventus Blue 6X 2 Hybrid: TSI3 Hybrid Tensei Blue 80 X (17.25*) 3 Hybrid 818 H2 Hybrid Hzrdus RDX Black 6.5 (20.5*) 4 Iron - T200 4 Iron Graphite Design Tour AD IZ X Hybrid Shaft Irons 5-PW: T100-S 5 - GW KBS Tour 130 X Gap/Sand Wedge: Vokey SM6 49* SM8 54* Lob Wedge: Jaws 5 Wedge 58* DG Tour Issue Stiff Putter: Phantom 5.5 34" Pro Platinum Newport 2 35" Taylormade Tour Black Spider 34"
tony@CIC
Men's league last night - 9 hole match play: My nemesis hole at our club is a tough 405 par 4, where a normal drive puts water in play on the left and bunkers on the right, uphill and a tight approach to the green. which is guarded by bunkers. I'm on in 2, not quite, I was in the 1st cut. a 7i bump and run for about 20' gets me to within 3 feet from the pin and a short putt for a par. First par for me on that hole in almost 10 years of playing here (yes the hole got in my head). Oh and the guys we were playing were single digit handicappers - we took home 8.5 points out of 11. 8 1 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300
DiscipleofPenick
Played there once, when the 9th was the 18th or vice versa. Bucky CC
Shot a 76 with a triple bogey yesterday. Was even par through 14 holes (started on the back nine) before my blow up on a par 5. The triple consisted of a fairway bunker, an unplayable lie in the trees, a greenside bunker, and a terrible chip than led to two putts. And no, I don't actually carry a 2 wood. It's just a different driver than I used last year so I tagged it as a 2w in Arccos to save my previous driver's data. 6 Quote Driver: RADSPEED 10.5°, Project X Even Flow RIPTIDE 60 6.5 Fairway Wood: RADSPEED, Fujikura Motore 70 X 3/4 Hybrids: F9, LA Golf Tour AXS Red 85 X 5-PW: JPX 919 Forged, KBS Tour Stiff Wedges: Jet Black 50°08F, 54°12D, 58°08M, True Temper Dynamic Gold Black S200 Putter: Black ER5, 35", Gravity Grip
DiscipleofPenick
I took yesterday off to play and had to change venue, as almost everywhere had thunderstorms forecast all afternoon. So instead of traveling to one of my favorite courses I played the muni down the street, and it never rained. Shot an 80, which is ok, but I always feel like I could play better on this course, but the greenskeeper must have an attitude because the course is consistently set up tougher than a 116/70.5 rating slope would indicate. daviddvm
Played at Bay Forest Golf Club ( my home course ) Thursday and it was summer HOT. Popular Post Lacassem
Today was nothing to write home about. 46, LOTS of bogey+. Nothing was blending together, A lot of great shots but nothing strung together. I am attributing some of this to the fact that I am back and forth on 2 new sets of clubs and learning them. Either way it was golf and I HAD FUN! This should really sum up the day: Par 5. Bomb drive (about 280, had 235 to the large trap on the right of the green back corner), bomb 2nd shot, under GIR....3 putt and you can see I did not have a bad length to putt and easily make bird.... Other than that just a fun day Not a great drive, not getting alot of that fade I am used to this year which is ok...just need to remember that. @B.Boston hit first. 11 Quote Check out my reviews: G710 Irons Official Review MC Shaft & V Series Putter Official Review WITB: Weapons of grass destruction (link to WITB) Traverse is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by RadSpeed 8* - MotoreX F1 6X SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green U505 Driving Iron 17* - Project X HZRDUS Black SpeedZone 4H - Project X HZRDUS Black 2022 King Forged Tec's 4-PW - KBS $ Tape 130 48 (SM8), 52 & 60 (SM7) - Nippon Modus 125 S ER2VI PROV1X #19 Thank you to all those that have served/are serving and God Bless America

Mtbryant01
81 (43/38) 4 birdies/8 pars 34 putts : / 10/13 FIR 9/18 GIR Solid round playing at Ballantrae Golf Course here in Birmingham, AL. Had a stretch of 3 birdies in 5 holes (should have been 4 birdies). I made birdies, but also struggled with the putter at times, had 3 putts on 4 holes. Some of the holes were on ridges and I had downhill putts. I couldn't stop the ball for the life of me. Didn't learn from the first 3 putt... I have been working on my chips and had one fall this round. It was with my 60 degree about 30 yards out for birdie. Hit a low spinner, 2 bounces, checked, and rolled in the heart hitting the flag stick and staying in. downlowkey
9 holes this morning. Woke up sore and stiff, just could not get the hips moving. Had no speed today and my elbows were killing me after the crappy range session last night. Got paired up with a Mom and her two kids; it was a nice walk and a beautiful day. Somehow I found every green in regulation - 8 pars and 1 birdie. Hit a total of 2 shots the way I intended but everything was straight and no real stinkers. Planned to play 18 but the course was packed this morning and super slow so I headed home at the turn. Thoughts for the day: This game is so different from one day to the next. I’m a big fan of these new UV sleeves. I should have started hunting for a new instructor when Tom Ness called it a career, because me and the mirror are not quite cutting it. 7 Quote ______S9-1 Pro D - Matrix Ozik XCON 6 S ______S9-1 Pro 15* - Matrix Ozik XCON 7 S ________3DX 17* - Matrix Ozik Altus Hybrid SG ______ICON Black 4-PW - KBS Tour V S __________588 RTG 49 RTX 52.10 56.12 - DG S400 ______Amazing Grace NYC Tour CS _______'19 TP5X (the preceding have all been gamer approved) "The most important shot in golf is the next one“ - Ben Hogan

I was apologizing for the flippant start as sometimes humor does not translate in print. And yes, I am liking the T100-S but honestly I think I could have been using my wifes clubs on that first 9 and shot the same score. Just never been that flawless for 9 holes. Here is how crazy in the zone I was. On a 151 yd par 3 with the pin front left and a bunker on that side and the green sloping away, I aimed 10 feet right of the flag. I missed my line a little and actually nicked the flag. So even my misses were right at the flag. Everything else was 15' or less. Came back to earth on the second 9 hitting 6 GIR's. One thing I did do, was anytime there was even a hint of being between clubs I took more club and trusted it without taking anything off the shot. I was either pin high or just short with only 1 iron past the pin by about 12' long. 3 Quote Driver: SIM2 Max 10.5* ... AD-IZ 6SR Fairway: SIM2 Max 15/18* ... I was up a little past midnight trying to finish a work project; didn’t get my typical 6 hours of sleep and have been feeling flat all day. Fought my swing a bit on the range last night so my hips were extra tight this morning. And when my elbows hurt (also range related) I might as well forget about speed. I intentionally cut out the caffeine prior to morning rounds but it might have actually helped if I had a cup this morning. To your point on the ability to adjust - it’s undoubtedly beneficial to have some off days that are not reflected on the scorecard in the memory bank. Because tournaments do not wait for you to show up with your A-game. And the nice family I played with remarked that it was the best golf they had witnessed in person, which was a good reminder that it’s all relative. 2 Quote ______S9-1 Pro D - Matrix Ozik XCON 6 S ______S9-1 Pro 15* - Matrix Ozik XCON 7 S ________3DX 17* - Matrix Ozik Altus Hybrid SG ______ICON Black 4-PW - KBS Tour V S __________588 RTG 49 RTX 52.10 56.12 - DG S400 ______Amazing Grace NYC Tour CS _______'19 TP5X (the preceding have all been gamer approved) "The most important shot in golf is the next one“ - Ben Hogan
