Popular Post Golfspy_CG2 26,517
Got in my 3rd 18 hole round of the year yesterday afternoon. And it went much better than last week's abbreviated 14 hole round-due to rain. Shot 96, which isn't great by any means, but as the Pros say, "I felt like I hit the ball much better than that" LOL I just literally made nothing on the greens, but rolled the ball well, they just didn't go in. But the best news was I found my game off the tee after it went completely AWOL last week, hit 12 of 14 fairways, and the two misses were by a couple yards and still very playable. And with me being a shorter hitter, I have to be in the fairway to have any hope. Where I hurt myself was the 160 to 165 yard shot, seemed like I had that distance all night. I did try to use a 5 iron for that as opposed to my 5 hybrid or even 9 wood. It didn't go well, so that change will be made to the bag. But between those poor shots and the missed puts, that's where the bogey's turned into doubles. The best part it was a picture perfect afternoon, sunny upper 70's and not a hint of humidity in the air. Couldn't have ordered up a better day. 15 Quote TSi2 Kuro Kage 50g R Flex TSi2 16.5 FW with GD AD IZ 6 Shaft G410 FW 7 Alta CB R flex G410 Hybrid 26 degree Alta CB R Flex T100S/T200 Combo 5-7 T100S 8-P T200 TT Black Oynx R Flex SM7 54.08 F 58.12 K Heppler Tomcast ProV1X Play number

golfingbrock 592
My wife and kids are visiting the in-laws and my new niece who was born late last night, so I am about to play for the 3rd straight day! Played in a scramble Tuesday (not near enough social distancing out there) Yesterday played with my college roommate who I hadn't seen in 5 years, and had a great time and shot 69. Something about playing consecutive days got me in a gear that I don't usually have playing twice a month. Today I am playing with my 70 year old parents, socially distanced. 7 Quote Driver: Honma TR20 440 8.5° w/ Vizard FP-7X SHAFT - REVIEW POSTED 3 Wood: Adams TightLies Titanium 3+ - Shaft Bassara E55 x5ct Hybrid: Taylormade RBZ 2. 16.5°- Stock Shaft- Stiff Irons: SUB70 639 CB 4-PW w/ Nippon Modus 120 X-STIFF Wedges: GW: SUB70 Raw 48° Mizuno Mp series 52 SW: Cleveland RTX 2.0 56° LW: Mizuno JPX 900 60° Putter: Odyssey White Ice Sabertooth- Superstroke Slim 3.0 grip Bag: Taylormade FlexTech Lifestyle Carry bag- Houndstooth

Popular Post ChasingScratch 1,557
Played a one-day early birthday round today. Shot +7 78 (par 71), no birdies but no doubles, no three-putts, and no lost/water balls. 32 putts (3 of them missed on the lip ). Need to do much more practice on my chipping. There were quite a few holes where I had what should have been relatively easy up and downs, only to have a chip go by the hole to 9 or 10ft. Tough to put that much pressure on the putter all day. Missed some "make-able" birdie putts that hurt (one from 9ft on a par 3), but were to be expected (not many people are making many 18 footers that often). Did have a green-side bunker up and down on #18 for par (hit it to 2ft). 12 Quote Instagram: @_chasing_scratch YouTube: Chasing Scratch Facebook: Chasing Scratch Training Pre training max driver speed: 124mph Current: 130mph WITB: Driver: G400 LST 8.5* with HZRDUS SMOKE 6.5 70g Woods: 2007 Burner TP 3 wood and 5 wood Irons: Z765 4-PW (1 degree flat) with KBS $-130 shafts Wedges: Vokey SM7 50/12/F, 54/10/S and 58/12/D Putter: Stroke Lab Ten S 33" Ball: Z-Star XV

Popular Post B.Boston 10,514
Had a rough start to this mornings round... double-par-triple and played the last 6 with 3 bogeys and 3 pars. I’ll blame the start on the three little ones who were up at different parts in the night so between 11 when I fell asleep and 5:30 when I got up I slept a few hours in my bed, another in the rocker, a few next to my 3 year old and the last one on the couch. Not sure whhhhhhyyyy my back was tight, but that might have had something to do with it. First tee shot was nearly lost to the right but stayed in play. The good from the round? Two 280+ drives (although one left me in a bad spot as shown in the second photo) and my putting was on fire. It doesn’t look it because I only had 1 one-putt and 8 two-putts, but I was close all day on some long range putts. None of my second putts were much more than a tap in. *shout out to @Lacassem (the guy in green) who kicked my butt, but also had a three-putt* Best hole today was the 4th for me. 11 Quote #COBRACONNECT CHALLENGE 4 ALUMNUS Speedzone Driver 10.5 - Ventus Blue 6x | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8s | Speedzone 4-Hybrid - KBS Proto 85s KING Forged Tec 5-GW - Nippon Modus 120x | KING MIM Black 52.12C, 56.10V, 60.04W - Nippon Modus 125 Wedge ER2B | MTB-X | NX9 HD Slope #cuetheduckboats

Popular Post Getoffmylawn 2,838
I took my 6-year old out for 9 again today, and I don't consider those rounds playing, more like practice, since I'm more concerned with him playing and having fun, and I often find myself skipping holes or picking up to not impact pace of play if junior is 5-putting. What I will say, as if I needed a reminder, is I'm old (maybe just older) and I can't just rush to the tee box anymore. 42, and active and working out enough to have sore muscles, and I can't play this game if I don't stretch thoroughly, maybe foam roll, and warm-up with at least an Orange Whip if not a bucket on the range. I couldn't turn..sliding all over the place, toe shots...it was ugly for a while. Once I loosened up things straightened out and got better. And my SuperSpeed training might be starting to pay off, but I'll wait until I have some numbers to back that up... 12 Quote Driver: TR20 460, Vizard 60g Stiff FW: CBX 119 3w, 15, Project X Evenflow Blue 75g Stiff Hybrids: TS3 3 & 4H, Project X Evenflow Blue 85g Stiff Driving Iron: MP-20 HMB 3i, UST Mamiya recoil ES 780 F3 Iron: JPX 919 Forged 4- GW, Project X 6.0 Wedges:SM8 54 S Grind, 60 M Grind Putter: ER7B Tested the Honma TR20 460 driver
Josh Ross 631
Got out for 9 today in between rounds of rain. Shot +2 and tried out the new Shot Scope v3 today. It's my first experience really with anything like this because I disliked having my phone on me with Arccos. Yardages seem to be somewhat alright, we'll see how it goes moving forward. On a level par 3 I was 144 (rangefinder distance) and hit a 9 iron pin high. That's definitely an accurate yardage for me. Shot Scope showed 140 so not bad. But here in the mountains we have severe elevation changes sometimes. I was on another par 3 that was 112, playing 130. I hit a smooth PW and was on the front of the green. Only PW I hit on the day and it thinks I hit it 100 yards because it doesn't consider slope. Probably won't be a big deal once I start logging more shots but I wish it knew slope. Either way the data is sweet and I was pretty happy with my round. 6 Quote Driver: EXS 220 9.5° Project X HZRDUS Smoke Yellow 60 6.0 3 Wood: SpeedZone 14.5° Project X HZRDUS Smoke Yellow 70 6.0 3 Hybrid: 2017 CLK 19° Fujikura Speeder Evolution HB Stiff 4 Hybrid: 2020 CLK 22° Mitsubishi Tensei Blue Stiff Irons: JPX 921 Forged 5-9, JPX 921 Tour PW Project X LZ 6.0 Blackout Edition Wedges: Edison Forged 49°, 53°, 57° Putter: L.A.B.
