What Is Your Next Planned Golf Equipment Purchase?

I need some new wedges...I have old Vokey and Taylor Made ones currently. Just gotta figure out which ones to buy.

Looking at new clubs and a putter. Putter will probably win out though. I like the mallet putters and have been leaning towards a TaylorMade Spider.

There have been a few things that have come up recently which I am interested in. The wedges are maybe the most insecure spot in my bag.

I played at PGA Frisco in Texas this week for a client's charity golf outing and I putted so bad with my Ping Anser that I decided it had to go. Played really well outside of the putting and I was messing around one night on the practice greens and they had some Odyssey mallets out you could try and my speed, direction, and distance control were much, much better. So I went and tested out some Odyssey and TaylorMade mallets when I got back yesterday and after about 45 min of comparing, I went with the TaylorMade Spider Tour. I love it so far. First round with it tomorrow morning.

I would like to get a set of Ping irons to complete my set, but I am afraid I won't hit them as well as I am with my Maltby KE 4 Max irons

Looking into new irons, but not brand new releases.  Going to do something that released 2021-2022.  Irons just not worth buying something brand new.  Everything nowadays is virtually the same forgiveness wise (not blades).  But players irons have come a long way.

I never thought I would be making another purchase for 2024 but I have been dying to try the Fujikura Axiom iron shafts so I order them with a set 5-PW PING i530's. I love my PING BPS but I'm a good 1/2 club shorter with them. So yes chasing the distance and a bit more forgiveness

I want new irons. I've been playing my MP 64's for 12 years. I love them. I don't need new irons.... I just want them. 

MP 243's are calling my name. I doubt I will do it at this time, but I can always wish.

Love them. They have been great!  I have a driver shaft, another driver for my mini and a 3w shaft cut down to 5w length for my 4w.

After my upgrades to the qi irons and the qi10 max driver the only thing I really really want to upgrade is my putter. It’s my biggest weakness in the game I love and for all the different putters I’ve owned and tried the two that have had the most consistent end results are the l a b D3 and the evnrol zero. Maybe my wifey will suprise me with an early Xmas gift

I picked up a 19° Utility Iron from Sub70 earlier this year and couldn’t be happier.

That's first on my list, my bag is becoming almost exclusively Sub70 with my new Sub70 wedges arriving today...

I got it to fill the gap between fairway wood and 5i. And to keep it low in the wind.

Work/life has gotten in the way, I can only play like once a month now (if that), and I've decided on moving from my current Apex 21 irons to an SGI set (Wilson Launchpad 2). It's going to be quite the transition, but I just can't get out enough anymore (not even to hit the range/simulator). I just want to maximize my enjoyment now, on the rare occasion that I do get out there. I'll keep my Apex 21s on standby, but will game the Launchpads this fall.

Will be in the market for a replacement driver in the spring. Still rocking the Ping G400 SFT. After a lesson package this year, my swing has changed so much and my “miss” is left now as I am drawing the ball much more often than ever going right. The closed face of the SFT makes my misses even more drastic.

Try Sub 70. They have their main location in IL or a number of fitting carts to get fit in person. You can also order a demo club to try out and their customer service is great to help you with iron model/shaft selection and any customizations. Have every option from super game improvement to blades.

Thanks for the info! I have actually looked at theirs, just not sure if I'm in love with the looks of them. But if the performance is there I'm definitely interested!!

Edison are worth a look. I'll be picking some up in the coming weeks.
