That's good to know, I've never been someone who changes clubs too often but I love trying new golf balls. I'm pretty happy with the MaxFli Tour ball but I'm always up for something new.

I believe it did really well in ball lab too.

I got an email today from Brittani Owens from @Vortex Golf thanking us as a group for reviewing their line of rangefinders and letting us know to reach out if we have any questions or problems. 

In six years of being fortunate to test products for the forum which is a first for me. I think that goes to show how good their customer service is and I really appreciate it. 

I also received another email from Vortex letting me know my Anarch is coming home and will be delivered tomorrow. I can't wait to have it back in the bag.

The Anarch arrived back at the house today while I was still at work. I opened it up and saw Vortex replaced it with a brand new unit! 

I looked over the repair notes and it said they were unable to repair the old one and sent a new one. 

I have to give them an 11/10 for the customer service and I really appreciate them doing that.

Thanks for such a phenomenal review. I’m a huge Vortex fan and this sealed the deal for me in picking this up. The rangefinder market is just flooded with options but seeing they brought that same Warranty to their golf side is just hands down the best. 

Buy once, cry once.  Seems like this fits the bill.

I think the warranty and customer service is what really sets them apart in the rangefinder market, they're both just phenomenal. I have a feeling you'll love the rangefinder of you're a fan of Vortex.

Brand new to the sport, first season. Figured having this in my bag would also help me solidify distances with my clubs. I tend to be a strong hitter so it’d be helpful to start gauging when to use what.

I haven't played in a month and was able to get out yesterday with the replacement Vortex sent me after the damage to my previous rangefinder. 

I will say that I did have a little bit of trouble spotting flags and had to take multiple readings on a bunch of holes. I think it might have been due to the flags whipping in the wind causing me to get readings from things behind the greens. I'm also a believer in measuring multiple times to verify readings. I didn't have the same issues measuring stationary targets such as tree stumps and buildings. 

Slope mode was the star of the show yesterday, I got to play a course with severe elevation changes and it made a world of difference. I posted over in the "How'd you Play" thread a video of the 17th at Falcon Pointe and the owner wasn't kidding about taking less club on the approach to the green, I measured 187 and it was playing 174. 

When we played the 12th a short par 4 that plays from an elevated tee box I took out the Anarch and it showed 271 playing 253. 

Overall, I'm still impressed with the Anarch.

I finally got a round in today after missing the last 2 Sundays (covid wait period, then rain). It was a beautiful Sunday morning, cool temps and clear blue skies letting that sun keep us warm.

The Anarch was in full game mode. Lots of usage throughout the round, both for me and for dad. Not huge ups and downs on today's course, but enough to warrant the usage the ensure the right club is picked.

Not a single issue with the Anarch today. Slope was on point and the image stabilization made ranging super easy.

One of the issues I dealt with during the review was the eye relief with sunglasses on. No issue today. Not sure what I was doing differently today, but there was no issue seeing the display and numbers.

Still loving this thing!

I just received a Vortex Anarch rangefinder as a birthday present.  My wife and son are really good at reading my cues (a written lit).  I'm excited to get out on the course and use it!

Welcome to the family!! You're gonna be shocked at how much a rangefinder can actually help on the course.  Especially when the view isn't bouncing around all over the place.

That was one of the main reasons I asked for it.  I've had other rangefinders and my current one is adequate but as I age I can use the stabilization feature.  The lifetime warranty helps too!

The warranty is amazing! I already had to have mine sent in and replaced and their customer service is great.

Guess that can be both good and bad.  Bad that you already had to have it sent in and replaced.  The good is that they replaced it.

For the record, it wasn't a mechanical or technical issue as to why it was sent in. It was the victim of a cart path fall that cracked the housing near the lens.

I have had mine drop off my cart with no damage. Speaking from many years of experience with Vortex, their optics and tech that they put into their gear hardly ever fails.

I can second this - I've had a few drops with mine, but it still looks brand new and works perfectly. It is great to know, though, that the customer service is so quick to replace them if they do break!

I can third this. Especially since I spent an afternoon chucking mine across the front yard during the review period.

Basically mine came detached from the golf cart and decided to bounce down a cart path and go under my cart. I don't think I ran over it and it still worked fine, I was just worried that the waterproofness might be compromised.

I had my first round with the Anarch today and couldn't be happier.  Once I figured out how the pinseeker feature worked, it was smooth sailing.

Have loved my Anarch!! Used it a few rounds already and it’s been spot on. Wondering if anyone else has had this happen though. I pulled it out of its case and have two black specks in the lens (tried to capture a photo of it). 

I’ve taken the micro fiber to it and everything but nothing. I’ll call Vortex in the AM but figured I’d ask here.

I have not seen that on mine, could be there is possibly some dust particles in there. Otherwise did you try any damp type lens cleaner? Thinking like eyeglasses wipes?

I could try that, I used a little air spray (like the type you use to blow dust out of right areas) thinking it’d maybe help. It’s functional still but rather irritating having two big specks. I wonder if it’s internal

I would imagine if that didn’t work, there’s a chance it is internal. Contact their CS and they will get it taken care of one way or another for sure

It looks like sunspots to me, but I could be wrong. It's good you're reaching out to them since I believe they'll take good care of you.
