Hmm interesting! I haven’t had it in any glaring blinding sunlight. Used it Friday and popped it out this morning and it was there Glad I bought Vortex knowing they’ll take care of it but a little bummed it’s happened only after a few rounds.

I wouldn't think that was the case then. I don't think sunspots can happen that quickly especially if you haven't had the lens facing the sun. Hopefully it's something minor and they can rectify the situation.
