Why not Taylormade? They get more press on this forum than anyone. Even the bad press talks about how great they are at some things. Even though the are the best at Marketing. But even us who do not play TMag, admit that they have a quality product. Maybe not the best in every catagory but it is still good. There is a saying about "Who cares what they say as long as they are talking about me." TMag has to benefit from this.

 

This is like the "Why I hate Bubba..." thread. For every bad comment about him there were two or three good ones.

Thanks mudfish, but this is what I already had. Maybe I am just stupid, I click enter now, and get the five rules but there is no place to enter my entry that is less than 100 words and can be witty and funny but can not use the word r____t or any synonyms for _obo_.

I think there is a problem if you use Firefox as your browser. I normally use Firefox, but had to use Internet Explorer to submit my entry. Once I opened the link using IE everything worked fine.

 

I'm wondering about the voting. One vote per day. Can you vote for your own entry?

I have to say, I'm disgusted with the reaction on the blog. It's taken everything in me to not just start ripping people, but I respect the site too much to do that.

 

X and T, you guys have done a great job and I'm sorry that people are being so negative towards your hard work. I know it's hard not to let it get to you, MOST of us appreciate all the hard work and time you invest into the site. You guys are awesome.

I use Internet Explorer and had to go to Firefox to get on to this stupid contests, I have wasted a freaking hour on this damned thing and can not come up with any thing constructive. I will come back later and read it after I am not so mad at MGS and Facebook. Hype this S_ _ _ for a week or more and they force us to use a medium where a lot of us do not like, and then the damned thing does not work.

Thanks JBones...you know some people just never understand all the work some do behind the scenes to make things happen. Seriously...this entire contest was constructed for you guys...it took MONTHS to put together....so the fact the people are upset is way beyond me. And to sit here and say we hyped it for a week and then it is on Facebook all of the sudden...give me a break. WE ARE GIVING YOU THE CHNACE TO WIN SOMETHING WE THINK IS PRETTY DAMN COOL....so enough already. And to hear people like RoverRick saying we wasted his time....well sorry brother...turn the station if you don't like what you hear.

While I am not a huge facebook fan, I was pissed more at facebook because I spent and hour trying to get it to sign up and it would not load. It did on firefox not on IE. This is not your fault. After I cooled off I entered, I apologize and wrote something just for you. On the contest, I had no idea why all those contest are run throw facebook but I see that now. In the past when to enter a contest you must Like us on Facebook. I do not enter. I did this one, not so much to win, which would be very nice but to show support for this site.

Just for the record, I do not sit around an compose poetry in my spare time often. As you can probably tell. However, I do write a song to be sung at a St Patrick's Day Party every year for the past 5 years. Last year it even included a little bit of Irish River Dance. With enough Guiness we all become Irish.

If you just bought new clubs and have my luck, the most likely thing to happen is a rainout the first time you try to play with them. I recently put a new shaft in my driver and went to the range with it once. I was very eager to get it on the course, but then got rained out the next two times I was scheduled to play. Tropical storm. Rained so hard the course was closed. If you saw pictures of the stadium course with the island green almost under water, that was when it happened.
