There as a number of golf tees that promote getting extra yardage and hitting ball straighter, but are any of them any better than the next?

I have tried the 4 yards more tees and they do nothing different compared to a wooden tee except not break as often. I have gone back to wooden tees and don't play anything else. Just my preference I guess.

I’ve been using some brand I found on Amazon called Tour Tee. No actual advantage as far as I can tell but they’re real solid plastic tees that are very easy to spot after you hit them and they last forever, so I guess the advantage is I haven’t had to buy a new tee in 2 years

I’ve finally learned that tee height affects distance for me. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was +/- 4 yards. But that’s like maybe 1-2%.

My personal preference is wood tees because if they break or are left on the ground, they’ll eventually degrade. I also don’t like the marks some plastic tees will leave on the sole of my club.

At my age, I prefer the martini tees. I can put them in at a slight angle towards my target and the ball stays on the tee without much effort. I haven't noticed, much if any, loss of distance or color transfer to my clubs.
