I'm thinking this isn't a Nike club due to the fact they're litigating again with Triple Tree Golf (more specifically Stites) over the sliding weight design they were going to implement in the Slingshots.

 

Walter Hagen golf had a similar iron with variable COG, but this isn't theirs either.

 

I'm still digging, lol.

still cant find the brand but it looks like Vandette B. Carter's or David Aker's patent application number 20080261715

 

 

Page 15 shows a picture of an iron that looks very similar

Winner on the FB page. I just had found what I thought was it in the Land More Eagle's A.C.T, but it was just sketches and such. He found the exact pics.

 

To be fair, msp's patent # posted on here had the correct patent and the driver line with the name on it was from the same lineup, as image 15 had the irons in it, and Van Carter owns Parace golf.

But does anyone know how the guy who won found the brand name? I went through 20 pages of patents and 20 google pages on Vandette Carter and found absolutely nothing.

 

But all and all congrats to the guy who won becuase that was a tough contest.

Yes I know how he found the winner, but rather not tell because in all honesty it was good spy work but nothing to do with golf knowledge. And if I did tell it would ruin all the contest we do like this in the future.

 

Trying to figure out a way around it now, but looks like we might have to change this type of contest in the future.
