I personally would like a cart bag with sixteen or seventeen full-length dividers.
Fifteen is as big as they're going right now.

To be perfectly honest, fourteen clubs just do not feel like a full set.
Perhaps the USGA/R&A want to handicap the players in their events,
but as a purely recreational player playing scrambles with my friends,
and considering what golf clubs cost today,
I don't like having to choose just fourteen or fifteen of them and leaving the rest behind.

I could use a Staff, gag, I supposed. I do have one full of putters.
But I'm now accustomed to individual dividers and front facing pockets.
And it would be so easy to do: four rows of four plus a putter well.

The USGA has addressed this in recent years about and feels 14 clubs is just fine and doesn’t need to be increased or decreased. I agree with them. In the course of a normal rounds I don’t use every club in the bag. Clubs have a 10-15 yard gap by default. This will vary by golfer and the slower swing speed golfers may see less in the longer irons as their speed doesn’t allow proper launch and spin to be achieved.

If one isn’t playing in a tournament or friendly match using the rules of golf or playing a handicap round, they don’t have to follow any of the rules and can carry as many clubs as they want

More clubs? Going to be a heavy bag. I often have 13 and am more than fine.

As for what they don't make - special editions in LH. Some due, but many have them as RH only.

Exactly, Ricky, and except for two member-guests, one home and one away, that's almost every single round of golf that I play.

It's no big deal to me if they don't want to change the rules, but I still want a sixteen or seventeen individual divider cart bag.   I can't go back to the chaos of six-way, but fifteen slots make me leave clubs at home that I'd prefer in my bag.

A lot of non-USGA/R&A practices abound among recreational players, everything being a lateral hazard being perhaps the most common.  We play mostly scrambles to beat a score as a team, so we're not playing the ball as it lies either.

It's competition for serious players, and there's certainly nothing wrong with that.  It's fresh air and time with my friends for me, and I like access to my complete set.

Our carts never complain about the weight of the bags.  If they could complain, it would be about the weight of the players!

I want different sized drivers. There's a whole breadth of size to explore. Start at 300cc through the max 460cc. Personally I want about a 350, but would love to try many others. If you want to go lower to 200cc, do that to!

The other thing I want is a graphite headed driver. I have an old Mizuno and there is nothing that feels better. I like it so much I'm getting it re shafted so I can try and game it. The only thing I don't like about it is it might be to small sitting around 200cc. But I LOVE the feel of that thing.

While we're on the topic of feel, where is my bigger cc wooden driver? A 400cc wooden driver would be awesome if you could get the weight right!

And if you can't or won't make a wooden driver then why not make a Titanium driver that looks like it's wood. With a wood skin or paint job.

Admittedly, I was a gear nerd when I worked in golf in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I always loved the Tour release clubs that were exclusive for Professionals.

Among the Tour release equipment, the TaylorMade 500 series (510 TP) was the coolest club I could never get my hands on. Then came TMAG Connection. I jumped at the chance to buy an R7 Quad TP with a Mitsubishi Rayon TP70 LT.

Fast forward to several years ago, boutique shops like The People’s Clubs (among others) make it far easier to get your hands on Tour Release clubs. OEM realize there is a market and that’s why we now have resources like Wedgeworks, Club Champion and YouTube channels that feature everything under the sun.

This was all I ever wanted from manufacturers and I love the access we now have.

Louisville Golf still makes beautiful wooden clubs.
They're not cheap, and are even less cheap as customs.

Right now, they're selling a  MacGregor Tommy Armour M09 replica that's a work of art.

Their "Niblick Series" fairway woods have heavy soles and are extremely playable.
They're only made in persimmon, however.
I like persimmon drivers, but would prefer the strength of laminated maple in fairway woods.

Yeah, Louisville makes some awesome stuff! I would just like to see them get that head bigger though! I'm not even sure if that possible for weight issues, but I feel like it's gotta be possible with technology

There’s several issues that prevent them from doing it. First is the number of SKUs is a lot and companies don’t want that many. Even a clothing brand limits the number of SKUs because of the headache.

then there’s the market for them which is small. We can take the mini driver as an example, it’s a niche market and the inventory made is small compared to that of the regular drivers.

so lots of SKUs for small inventory of product is no good for a business.

Many fairway woods are close to the 200cc head so it really defeats the purpose of a 200 cc driver.

Yeah I get that. And it all makes sense. But I was just saying what I wanted. Since it was the question. And nothing wrong with coming out with a smaller line and letting it sit for a few years before offering a new one. Nowhere does it say to release a new one every year. Like here's our 330cc driver and it'll be available for 5 years. Then we'll do a new one if we feel like it.

I get it. I wish there were more 430 or 445cc drivers. I loved the g400 at 445 and the original m1/2 release from TM with the 430 tour head was great.

With the mini drivers we do get several years between releases but with small inventory and they are usually gone long before the next release

I wish all manufacturers standardized interchangeable hosel bores on their putters. IMO the neck setup has a significant impact on the way a putter head looks, flows, feels, etc.

The past few weeks I’ve switched out several of the face balanced double bend shaft setups in my collection with different necks (short/long slants, flows, short double bends). It has transformed some really nice wands that were designated dust collectors into designated hitters. If changing necks on all putters was as easy as turning a set screw, I’d be a much happier (and probably much poorer) consumer.
