How much do you tip the cart/club attendants at the end of the round?

My wife says I am cheap as I only tip $3 per bag, she tips $5 per bag.

Tipping isn't a thing here in Switzerland. It is a rarity that anyone is tipped for anything. Even servers, just not how it works here. So for the golf courses, nothing as it is not expected.

Tip as much as you’re comfortable with.  Having worked in public and private clubs for a dozen years I will say that anything is appreciated.

Considering that many golfers choose not to tip (not a slight, merely a fact) it was always a pleasant surprise to see a couple dollars tucked under the steering wheel of handed off with a handshake.

Still not sure about this, maybe a euro thing, when we first landed in the Azores a few years ago airport taxi driver all but refused the tip, Now in Funchal seems to be a mixed bag, we still leave a tip, just not sure the locals do, asking around and you get a variety of answers.

There is another thread about tipping somewhere on the forum.

All in going to say is when I went back to North Am I was put into a state of shock. To the point I got really annoyed about a lot of it. Just got accustomed to our ways here in Switzerland.

I'm not going to be any help here on this. I haven't played a course in the last 20 years where I didn't handle my own bag from trunk to trunk. What am I missing out there?

It depends on the golf club. A normal better club that has bag attendants, you should expect to pay $5.00 a bag when they unload your vehicle and put you bags on the cart. If you are at an exclusive club that the member pays for your rounds and such on his account you should show your appreciation to the staff so you should at least double that. Locker room attendants get about $20.00 Caddies get and additional 30% on top of the caddy fee and if he is really good and double bags then 50%. Then when you think your free and clear. Just off the 18th green waiting in the shade  a guy comes out and cleans your clubs. That's another $5.00 per bag. I hope you tipped the cart girl too. You by a drink for $7 and you give her $10.

By the time your done you wished you played a public course.🤣

You’re not missing anything. But you’re saving at least $5 each time! 😂
