I believe they were 1988 Ben Hogan Apex Redline Irons. Best irons I've ever owned. I regret letting them go.

This one is easy - I did have clubs stolen once but I don't miss them really none would be in my bag today and none were really magic sticks - I was happy with what I got to replace them.

So what I miss and may have stayed in my bag until very recently is my Ping G400 driver - that thing was a beast for me. I traded it in on a so-called upgrade in a moment of chasing a few yards that never appeared in real life.

Yes, I've had other clubs in the past that I played great golf with but none of them would be suitable replacements for what I carry currently.

Also had a few clubs stolen out of my garage several years ago, including two hybrids that I actually would like to have now...

There have been a few sets of irons I've run through, too, but one I keep thinking about were Cobra King OS with nice Recoil shafts. Stupid stoopit me thought I'd outgrown them - Not!!

Cleveland Launcher 5 wood, stock Stiff shaft. I think the first gen of the Launcher fairways. Never hit a FW as consistently. Almost automatic hitting 200/210 yard draws off the tee on tight holes or whenever I was driving poorly. It was in the bag for years until replaced by a first gen Callaway XHot, that also stayed in the bag for a long time.

Was that the launcher with the gold shaft?

I had a Ping Heppler Piper Armlock Putter but I thought the armlock approach was a phase for me and turned it into the SC Newport I currently have. I've admittedly missed it since. It was aesthetically pleasing and weighted/balanced perfectly for my stroke. I suppose you can never have too many putters in hindsight.

I had a Titleist 980F 3 wood that I loved. The face caved in once and Titleist replaced it. The second time it caved in Titleist replaced it with a 904F and I didn't care much for it.

My Dad as a gift got a First Flight Graphite shaft Persimmon head driver. I used it in the mid 70s when I was in elementary school. It was a great driver. I think it was one of the first graphite shafts used in a driver. My old room mate used it at his cottage and it was never seen again sadly.

I had a set of Yonex Super A.D.X. Tour Forged irons back in the 90s that I ended up selling and buying a new set of irons (can't even remember what now) and after a few rounds had Big Time regret.

Years ago I had a double bend Titleist Red X putter in excellent condition that I wish I’d kept. Most of why I sold it is I’m just not a fan of Scotty (Let’s copy all of Karsten Solheim’s putter designs) Cameron. That being said, it was a really good putter.

A few years ago I traded-in (2) Cleveland-CG15-DSG Oil Can wedges … Big mistake! Have never been as confident nor consistent since … My current Cleveland wedges (2-CBX Zipcore 50/54’ & 1-RTX FullFace 58’) don’t meet the expectations.

No regrets. My physical condition has IMPROVED the last few years, (surgeries, phys therapy, a lesson) so I am hitting my current clubs nicely.

Most of my clubs have been ready for replacement when i moved on. But I have had a couple stolen from my bag by swmbo that i would not mind having back. Like the TM RBZ 3w and the Callaway Mavrik 4w. But i didnt hold a grudge and moved on to a Titleist 915F 3w. I adjusted my commentary whenever she is within earshot to say how much i hate it just so she doesn't want to try it.

I had a Titleist TISI driver. It was broken while in the trunk of my car during a fender bend. I regret not having it fixed. It was the first driver I ever spent a decent amount of money on.
