Gino5778 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 So, reviewing the 2023 & 2024 Best Mallet Putter and like the information on the Rossie Tri-Hot 5k putt. What I want to know is what is the difference between the Rossie Tri-Hot, White-Hot OG, DFX, and like the new AI ONE versions? Quote Gino D’Ambrosio

Gino5778 Posted August 2 Author Posted August 2 I think I posed my question wrong..... Performance wise I am curious what the difference is between the each version of Rossie putters. Quote Gino D’Ambrosio

Performance wise I am curious what the difference is between the each version of Rossie putters. It will depend on your thoughts on how putters influence performance. Some in the putting world will say there is no difference in performance, the putter doesn't matter, and it your skills that dictate performance. If you believe the putter matters, then the three items that I mentioned are the things that will influence performance. For example: Colors: This will potentially influence your setup and how well you aim the face. weight: Weight distribution impacts rotation and rhythm/tempo which will influence face at impact and possibly distance control. Rotation will change the face angle at impact which will determine ball direction. Face: the various face materials will impact how the putter performs on off center strikes and how firm/soft the putter will feel at impact. Size: Size will potentially influence aim and stroke. This is how it works for all putters. if you are referring the the MGS performance numbers, it is simply a weighting of how many putts the testers made from each distance. t2490jh Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I really like the Rossie putters. I hit three of them - Tri-hot, White-hot OG, and AI. Not getting into the different types of shafts I will tell you about my experience with each one. At times I would get a hot putt off the Tri-hot putter. A little lack of feel overall. I ended up buying the White-hot OG (at a really good price). I paid to go one step up in the weights. Made all the difference. The AI putter was nice and very slightly outperformed the others with distance to the cup. However, my overall measurement was 2" better on average with 30-50 ft putts. Not enough to pay full price on the AI. I thought the OG feel was slightly better. Quote
