Thanks. I like Mark Crossfield too. For starters, he's a Mizuno fan so major props there but more than that, he's got some really good teaching videos on Youtube.

Im hoping that with all these new irons coming out that later this fall or maybe this winter I will be able to find a good deal on a set of JPX-800s (HDs, regular 800s or 800 Pros, doesnt matter to me).

Id love to have a set but right now there isnt $400 extra in the budget for new irons. Im hoping by this winter I will be able to find a set for $200 or less.

GG,Do you think that you can get a set of 800 for $200 or less...That's amazing...I know that they're a year out, however that's unbelievable that they've fallen that much...

Maybe. Ive found quite a few sets lately that have gone for about $300 and they are 2 years old now, so maybe when the new JPXs come out they will drop more.

You can get a set of MX-100s for under $200 now, so its possible.

In my experience, getting deals on the bay is all about timing. Ive scored some amazing deals in the past.

Interesting vids.

 

Had me right up until the custom order video. If they have all these fancy gizmo's for it, what have I never recieved a set that hasn't needed adjustments. I've never got a set that had all the same swing weights, let alone the lie or loft angles being on. Too much jostling in shipping to expect the latter two but I would expect the swing weights to be mostly on every time. Eh well. The guys always sort it out after they arrive.

 

Interesting that they're not doing any of the crazy designs on the Aerolight bags this time around. Guess they didn't sell as well?

Yeah, Im pretty sure your average Mizuno customer doesnt want a bag with crazy designs. That might work for the TM or Cobra crowd, but not the Mizuno folks.

I actually bought the black/grey/white one with the samauri(sp?) though it didn't go good with my pink breast cancer motif head covers & towels and I didn't have the heart to return it cuz the guy bought the five different bags & he was all excited that I bought one and it was the only one that he sold...lol....

 

Seriously, if anyone wants it, lemme know...Brand new, never used, you can have it for $50 + shipping.....

I completely disagree with the reviewer when he says that the MX line seemed like a budget model but I agree that the JPX line has taken what made the MX line great and taken it to a higher level.
