TK2HOUSE Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Golf Town here in Canada has a bunch of Ping putters on sale as well as the Mizuno M Craft VI. I'm in the market for a new putter and both of these are on my list with the AI One Cruiser and one or two variations of the spider. Anyone have experience with these? Occasionally I hear people who are so die hard on Mizuno putters and obviously Ping has a long history. My issue is putting at the store never really does testing justice. It doesn't feel the same, you don't have hours to try been different ones so part of it is a leap of faith. I definitely want a mallet, I know that much. slash25rc 1 Quote Telling my wife to buy quality things over the years has paid off for my golf bag.
slash25rc Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I game the M Craft Omoi VI and I love it. I came from a Scotty Newport 2 and wanted something with a little more stability, but didn't have the eye for larger mallets like a spider or phantom. I had a SC Futura years ago, and enjoyed it, but was also too large for my tastes. The Mizuno fits my eye perfectly as it is a mid-sized mallet, fully milled so feels great, and comes with the weight kit which I have enjoyed having options of trying heavier and lighter options. The face length isn't much different than a traditional blade, but gives me more confidence on putts under 10 feet. I use the 8g weights to get a little more feel on lag putts and it has been a game changer for me. Highly recommend! Good luck! TK2HOUSE Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 Thanks @slash25rc - very helpful. I was determined to get something extremely soft but the more my putting improves the more I see value in a little more feedback. slash25rc 1 Quote Telling my wife to buy quality things over the years has paid off for my golf bag.
