Phi Golf 2?

Winter is coming, and while I do not mind practicing outdoors in the cold, I was curious who has experience with the Phi Golf 2?

I understand the accuracy concerns vs. an actual LM/SIM etc., but just for like late night when the kiddo is asleep fun in the living room? Since it's close to Wii golf, I think my wife might actually have fun with it too. 

For $239 with Amazon discount, regardless of how close it is in terms of realism, is it worth it? I know you can take the sensor out and use actual clubs too and hit balls for some feedback, but if I am going through all that set up from club to club, I'll just break out the LM--so will basically just use the short weighted swing stick and move the coffee table in front of TV and treat it like an interactive game without the spinnies VR headsets give me

My brother in law has the original version . He likes it as something to do in the winter. We play sim golf a couple times a month. He says the readings on the sim are in the ballpark of what the Phigolf tells him.

That's good to hear! I have a LM that my brother-in-law pass back and forth and our family beach house has a Full Swing Sim in it. We are in the process of purchasing a new house with a detached 3 car garage so the plan is to build out a Sim in one of those bays--but I think for the $$, it just seems like a fun way to relax in the living room. I am not expecting it to be spot on by any means as I would not use it as a training/practice tool, but It's good to hear that it is relatively close!
