Saturday Morning Sherpa Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I went to Amazon and the reviews of the various impact tapes were all over the place. Some said are flimsy and falls apart; leaves residue on the club; the dye stains the ball and impact screen; does not leave visible marks on the tape; etc. Do you have experience and recommendations for good iron impact tape and where to buy it? Thanks. William P and Rob Person 2 Quote a. Iron specs (flex, length/lie). Regular graphite shafts, +1" in length & 2* Upright b. Driver specs (loft/flex). PXG Gen 6 10.5* c. Rob Person Posted October 26 Posted October 26 I got some off temu, I think 25 pieces for about $4. I haven't used them yet though. Club faces can be cleaned. I see people use them at the range constantly. I'll have to ask someone next time I see them being used. Agree, but since I will be using it inside, I would rather go with impact tape. cnosil, William P and Rob Person 3 Quote a. Iron specs (flex, length/lie). Can also use deodorant, like the white stick, I've done that before. You just need something that will leave a residue/mark to see where the impact of the call on the face is. I've even been told regular masking tape works somehow, but I haven't done that one yet so I don't know how well it'll work.
