Released like a couple of days ago and basically like the og swing caddie sc4 but with more metrics like side spin and spin axis. I'm gonna wait for a review before I pull the trigger on this.

Looks promising, but I still want to see more camera based systems vs radar.

Recently picked up the non-Pro SC4 - and I like the form factor, portability, clear display, easy to connect to the companion app, buuuut...

Not impressed with the way it seems to badly under-read launch and carry when using range balls .. which is the place where I thought I'd be using it the most...

Otoh as long as the readings are *consistent* then I can use it to help compare different clubs or different settings on an adjustable club.

Do you know what the difference is between the Pro & Non-pro versions? I can't seem to find any good clarity on the 2 different options.

The SC4 PRO was developed in response to significant customer demand and now includes advanced features such as side spin, spin axis information, and other swing and ball data with higher accuracy, based on ProMetricS—a cutting-edge proprietary machine learning algorithm developed by Voice Caddie. Additionally, it comes with the new VOICECADDIE S app, which offers a 3D driving range that provides a more realistic visual simulation of ball flight and detailed insights into swing mechanics.

Perfect, that's what I was trying to determine as I had looked at the SC4 Pro because I need something to help assist with my side-spin issue I'm trying to solve on my drives, but wasn't sure if the non-pro would provide the same info.

looks like I'm going to be considering the SC4 Pro here in the next couple of months. I do like that it is portable and non-fee based, but radar does have its limitations that I am a little hesitant on dropping $600 for that kind of product.

I have an old sc200+ and it's been great.   Functions just fine in a garage with limites space. Numbers are pretty accurate though I find it does tend to get less accurate the longer the club.  I've been looking at the SC4 non pro version for a while and will likely pull the trigger on a pro model (because of the spin metrics) sometime in the future.

Would be awesome if MGS forum can get a test going with these.

The Optishot Orbit used the Swing Caddy SC4 unit but with the Orion software. This gives you a gaming simulator with 20 included courses. That is if you are interested in playing courses. I think it is only $100 more. But I don't think it has the added features that the SC4Pro has. If you're interested look at their website.  You can always reach out on the chat with questions.

If someone markets a launch monitor that needs only 5 or 6 feet of ball flight, is accurate outdoors, has spin and spin axis and costs under $600 I’ll buy it.  I don’t ask for much do I?  Oh, yeah—and no yearly fees.

I have been nothing but please with my OG SC4 *with the exception of lack of side spin data. I do use it exclusively outdoors, mostly on the patio, but have taken to the range.

If there's any way I can upgrade firmware or get the pro model without breaking the bank, I will do an non-official review.

I have the SC4 through Optishot as I wanted the simulation aspect too. And of course no subscription to boot.

Upgrading the firmware for the OG SC4 would be ideal because from the limited information out there, I do think that it is software/firmware integration that creates the difference between the two models as opposed to hardware.

I too would be willing to do a review if I could do a firmware update to the new SC4 pro.

I have an SC4 Pro sitting on my desk waiting to test!

Plans to get out in December to put it through its paces, initial reaction is the app is much cleaner than the OG SC4.

Metrics on speed and brief indoor test are pretty spot on thus far. Looking forwards to seeing the spin metrics and how these compare!

Once i have some numbers i will share these up with you guys 👌

It does come with an E6 Connect card in the box with a code to redeem!

I had previously ordered the SC4 about 10 days ago and noticed the pro version would include important data like shot shape. I sent the SC4 back for a refund. I am waiting to see some reviews before proceeding with the purchase.

Starting to play again after a 15 year break.

Handicap is 20.2  atm. I’m confident with my lessons I’ll bring that down quite a bit soon.

It's not in English but you can see the gentleman hitting some shots with the SC4 pro and showing features from the app. Looks promising accept the chip shots that looked off on the readings. That's towards the end. Still looks really good though in my opinion.
