Nervous

I have had only one meetup with a fellow GolfSpy, and I was extremely nervous about it.  I feared that I would be made fun of, or perhaps felt sorry for, or worse.  My game can very greatly, depending on which version of me shows up at the tee box.  I can play terrible, or I can play not so terrible.  That said, the fellow spy I played with was great.  He was personable, friendly, and made me feel I did not suck too badly.  LOL.  Thank you KC for making it a very nice round of golf!

We all have nerves.  I got the opportunity to play with @Erin B when he came thru town and had a great time. This community is welcoming and honestly cares about eachother.

Not gonna lie, I was nervous when I met up with @Josh Parker @Preeway @BallsLeon and @cksurfdude but had a great time once we broke the ice. Didn’t take much either. Just be yourself. I wouldn’t trade meeting these spies for anything and I look forward to meeting more!

Everyone has nerves about playing in front of others it’s normal. What everyone needs to realize is no one is judging you. We all have different abilities and each of us is concentrating on their own game. We all want to do better and it all depends on which version of yourself shows up to play that day. 
I have probably played with 20 spies already and everyone is supportive. If they weren’t they would probably be on one of those other sites.

This reminds me of @sirchunksalot.  He came right out and said he was nervous to play with me ( A few years back now). I don’t think we got past two holes before he realized that it’s all about the fun and meeting other spies. We had fun playing together.

Tom's not kidding, I was scared to death meeting someone with his game and was worried that I'd be judged on my hacking around of the golf ball. Tom made me feel comfortable and I had a great time that day.

This will be me no matter how much I already know that no one is going to judge you. One of my biggest problems with my game is getting in my own head.

It’s always tough playing with new people, but at the end of the day it is being out there, having fun and socializing with some great people.

Have had the pleasure of meeting/playing with a spies and it has been fantastic.  While my game wasn’t great some of those rounds, I can truly say the company was!

I had the pleasure of getting to meet Bill @fixyurdivot a few weeks ago. And while we didn't get to golf together,  we did have a chance to hang out, chat, and play on the range a bit.

While I am not a shy person, I can get self conscious about how others may perceive me.

In the end it's about sharing the love of this sport we have in common!
