HotIce Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Just ran across this golf training aid called "B29 Blue Brick". Just wondering is anyone has used this, and if so what are your thoughts on it's usefulness and effectiveness? It looks like a trainer that can be used in a golf simulator, driving range ... Videos of the being use can be found at: https://improve.topspeedgolf.com/b29-blue-brick-videos/ Any insights that might help would be great! mpatrickriley Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Been seeing this one in my Facebook feed. As someone who does almost all my practice in my garage (rather than a range), where sticking alignment sticks into the concrete floor is a challenge (even when I'm working out regularly), this caught my attention. Would love to see this as a future forum review item, @GolfSpy_APH. Training aids we have moved to the no-go list for member tests as they just don't have the longevity and traction that we look for. mpatrickriley, Rob Person and HotIce 3 Quote as of Oct 5, 2024 (Past WITB) Driver: GT2 with Graphite Design AD CQ - check out the Driver Shootout! bjpjjs62 Posted Sunday at 03:04 PM Posted Sunday at 03:04 PM (edited) I did buy one and have to say I am very impressed with the amount of thought put into the device. People will say it's just an alignment stick and been done before but the drills/ explanation are great ,while getting the right angles set is brilliant in its' simplicity. Much more repeatable and robust than a ball bucket and alignment stick. I am using it in my home simulator and love it. Really good to get immediate feedback on what is going on with the swing and developing the correct feeling and patterns. I am not getting paid or any affiliation with the developer. RyanGi Posted Sunday at 04:12 PM Posted Sunday at 04:12 PM Any other feedback on the BlueBrick? It’s an interesting concept, but I’d like to hear more real world feedback… Rob Person and HotIce 2 Quote Driver: 849D 9° Fuji ‘24 Ventus velocore+ Blue 5R 3W: G430 MAX 15° Hzdrus RDX Red 5.5 60g 3 & 5Hy: G430 19° & 26° Hzdrus RDX Red 5.5 70g 5-PW: 699 v2 Mitsu MMT 80R Wedges: MAX milled 50° (bent to 48°), 54°, 58° Mitsu Kuro Kage Black 2G S/R Putter(s): DF3 TPT Armlock - purple edition!
