Anyone here with Kirkland v2 wedges...tell me if this is right?

I recently bought the Kirkland v2 wedges off their site.  They look really nice although when I gripped the club it felt very thin.  I have heard of guys regripping these although don't recall anyone mentioning the shaft butt being thin.  So, I break out the calipers and measure the shaft close to the grip and I get .540.  So unless there's another rib further up, (doubt it) this would indicate likely a .560 butt size at best which is really thin...like a junior size.  It feels a bit whippy as well as I use Dynamic Gold S300's in all my other irons and wedges.  Is this right?  Do these wedges normally come with these shafts or is something wrong here with mine?
