Thumper1978 Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I am replacing the shaft in my 7 iron what is the blue stuff in the bottom of the picture. I believe the club is solid but I could be wrong. Do I need to take this stuff out or is it supposed to be there. Thanks for anyone’s help. William P 1 Quote
golfinnut Posted November 20 Posted November 20 I would just drill it out. It just looks like old dried epoxy. William P 1 Quote WITB: Do I like Titleist or what? McGolf Posted November 25 Posted November 25 ITs probably remnants of a plastic shaft plug that was use during the installation. Taylor made uses them . Thumper1978 Posted November 25 Author Posted November 25 Taylormade finally got back with me. They put a plastic cap on the end of the metal shaft so epoxy wont go up the shaft. Sometimes when heated up it sticks to the bottom. I heated it up and ripped it out. Thank you for all who responded. William P, cnosil and Rob Person 3 Quote
