Thought this may be a fun topic. What would your perfect putter build be?  No patent infringement to worry about. Any tech or feature from any manufacturer is free game.

Interesting topic - I have been fortunate enough to be fit for putter three times - once on my own dime and twice for MGS tests - 

In the my dime case and also in first of the MGS tests I ended up with hatch back putters that had very similar specs.  The EVNRoll that I tested clearly had some tec in it that helped with dispersion and distance control over my much older stick.  

The fitting for my Sacks-Parente was eye opening in that rather than me picking a style, saying that fits my eye now fit me to it, I filled out a questionnaire about how I use putter and then did a virtual fitting where the fitter watched me through my laptop - What I learned from that process was that what I thought I needed in a putter was wrong!  So while I think this is a fun topic, I'm going to pass on going back there again and stick with what the expert gave me.

Mine is simple. 

I want a double wide LINK from L.A.B. 

TPT Shaft, but let's make it a cool limited edition with a one of one shaft. Then a swirl colored pistol grip that matches the limited edition shaft. 

For the putter head, I know Mark already said it, but an aged copper would be the ideal finish color.

This is a fun topic. I would incorporate SeeMore RST [hide the red dot] for a perfect setup; Sik/LA Golf face for a perfect roll; Gooseneck hosel with zero offset with center putter head entry, Topline sight dot, 3 lines in the putter flange, 3D printed for maximum MOI, Dale Anser putter shape but slightly wider face to back, Brushed copper finish, graphite over the hosel shaft that is wide enough to accept tour lock weights, and a Leather Garsen Max grip.

Luckily for me it is stock. A LINK.1 at 35" in the standard lie angle. Got fitted last week and it beat my DF 2.1 AND it is smaller in the bag AND it looks fantastic.

OK, here goes.

I think we're going armlock at 40". Probably a 17" JumboMax grip installed, face toward the target. But we're going for a mostly black grip with only the subtlest of details.

Shaft is black TPT. Absolutely love it in my DF3.

For the head: it's gonna be a L.A.B. head. I have no objections to the DF3 I'm currently playing with, and that's probably what I should end up with. But I'd want to test my dream setup with the Mezz Max and the new Oz to see if I can squeeze out any objective performance differences among them. If not, I'm likely going with the Mezz, just because I have always enjoyed the fanged head shape.

Alignment marker is going to be a variant of the MLA alignment that fits on whatever head shape I settle on.

The face will have Sik's descending loft tech, but also Evnroll's grooves.

Like others have said: I'm likely also going with a copper finish. I'm going for a look of an old Yes! series of putters that I loved:
