Best Older Driver to buy in 2024?

Hi, I currently have a taylormade shaft from a driver head that I recently gave to my father. Is there a driver in the last 4-5 years , I’m thinking sim or sim 2 max to get a head for and use in the upcoming years. Would the longevity be worth it? Are there other Driver brand/model you would recommend instead?

you can easily swap the shaft tip out so don't box yourself in the TM corner.

the driver reviews go back to 2018 and they are categorized by swing speed.

if you're looking for something new/newer at a good price the 2 most underrated (because they don't have a huge marketing budget) are Wilson and TourEdge

Callaway Epic Max LS is a good club as well as the Paradym TD. I like the AerojetLS and the LTDx LS from Cobra. Although some don’t consider it a driver, I love the BRNR Mini from TaylorMade. The Sim 2 is also good. The Ping 410 LST is one of my favorite drivers if you can find one in great condition. @StrokerAce comment and link is also a good source and heard nothing but good things about the Wilson and Tour Edge.

The Sim 2 Max is a solid driver.  I still have mine but also just bought a Stealth 2 Plus.

Is there a particular reason behind wanting to use the shaft you have?  Might find a good option with another brand if not locked in on TM.

On Global golf you can stack coupon codes and can get clubs for really cheap sometimes. I picked up a stealth 2 hybrid recently for under $90 shipped and a matching 5 wood for like $120. Both in like new condition.
