Well, it appears that Callaway is going to try the "Science of White".

I honestly hope they don't. I think it would be a big mistake. I just cannot see Chip doing it...but anything is possible.

But the shadow of the shaft is so noticeable on the white clubhead! That's like 15 yards lost.

The White Hawk driver - GI type driver marketed toawrds the younger golfers.

 

The Black Hawk driver - players driver marketed towards more traditional and skilled golfers.

I like seeing OEMs take steps in different directions. I'd love to see this one be successful. THe one thing I want to see of out Callaway's drivers this year is titanium. The FT-9 was one of the best drivers I've ever hit. I didn't like the Octane or any future FC driver. White titanium sure seems to sell if you look at TMaG...
