nike vr str8fit tour driver

Hi guys,

Any users of the VR str8fit tour driver, what are your impressions of the club? Whats the standard voodoo shaft like? Basically are we impressed overall, if you changed shafts what did you go for instead?

Never seen one.....but I've heard some good things about it. I too would be interested in what others experiences have been.

I too have heard good things but can't relay any first hand information. I game the Dymo Str8-Fit (not the VR Tour).

 

There are a couple of good reviews out there. I think NGNation.com did a review of the Nike VR Str8-Fit. Bob Diercksmeier, who runs that site, is a good guy and does a great job staying on top of Nike equipment. Highly recommended read if you're a Nike Golf fan.

I've hit it, but not extensively. I can say for certain that the compression channel at the bottom really did help with balls hit low on the face. They feel wasn't as sharp and stinging.

? That's what I said in the last post. If you meant high on the face is is basically the same as any other Nike driver.

Going by the picture's I've seen, this could be the first Nike driver in a while I might consider buying. I will after all be buying blind. No one around me stock Nike clubs.

Yeah, I agree with you. I know Nike has a large fan base, but I think with the VR line they have a chance to broaden their base because the clubs they have come out with this year and last year are just terrific. They are definitely on the right track and I hope they keep it up.
