I love me some Irish! Tullamore Dew 12 is a nice whiskey. My first love is Scotch.... especially Islay Scotch. Bourbon a close second.

Elijah Craig 12 is my favorite of all time, I want to try some of the 20 year old stuff if I could find it. Woodford reserve also!

The 20 year old is only available on site at the distillery from what I understand. I've also heard that the 20 is going to replace the 18 and will become available in stores at some point.

Woodford Reserve is kind of a polarizing bourbon among enthusiasts. I like it but, there are a lot of folks that don't care much for it. Not only that, it's kind of pricey for what it is.

18 year old has been out of stores for almost 2 years now, and yes the 20 was/is supposed to replace it. I might make a call tomorrow to get the scoop!

So............. what whisk(e)y are you all drinking? I've been on a Bourbon kick lately. Four Roses Single barrel, Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve, Booker's, Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Elijah Craig 12, Jack Daniel's Single Barrel (technically not Bourbon). What's your poison?

I've got a bottle of Dewar's 12 year that I've been nursing the last few months.  Great for when I've had a stressful day or need to sleep easy!

Actually, I finished a bottle of Rare Breed and I bought a bottle of the honey turkey...what do I know, I make my own beer and apple pie shine.

I can make the Apple pie shine myself and everyone down here is making their version of it. Miller beer is even making their "beer" malt beverage version of it complete with a mason jar. I don't drink that much any more and not tried it. The store bought version of it is The Junior Johnson brand. You have to be from the south or keep up on NASCAR to understand that one

I know who Junior is...but I don'tkeep up on NASCAR, except if Ambrose wins another road course.

I won't touch the store brands of pie, they're just too expensive. $20 for something I can make for $6.

Like to see the Lagunitas brew in there. I'm about 45 minutes from the brewery, where they have a great patio for hanging out, eating really good food and drinking their excellent brews.

Love me some Shinner, not as "Crafty & Sexy" as the smaller brewers, but man they make some great beer. I have had all of those in the there, and they are all very good!
