That's a good point, we've already seen the 5 layer ball, and drawings of the maze-y Titleist.

I just don't see stocking up on wedges. Things will change....balls will change to keep up with the new grooves. Plus, I play local competitive (hacker) golf, and with them already making some kind of gradual rule deal....who knows what they'll do next.

Your local club has a local rule that uses the new grooves??? WOW!!! that sucks..

No....that's just my point -- just buy when and what you need it (instead of stocking up), and you don't have to fuss with is the groove rule in effect? How much longer do I have to play this club?.......yadda, yadda, yadda.

I can see the point, but for me, I want to have the deepest, biggest grooves out there, and the vendors have to stop making and shipping them Dec 31. I plan on buying a few backups..

OK, I'll see how the Nickents that I just ordered play for me and I may just have to fire the PM...

Although the Adams watson wedge is very nice too.
