Guess you probably shouldn't tell him that 27 of 1000 is hanging on a wall in a golf liquidators temporary storefront in a mini-mall in Apple Valley, Minnesota.

 

Gotta figure by Christmas they'll be down to $600 or so...

I told my dad about #27 goin through a liquidator in Apple Valley, MN & the very first thing that he said was ,"you're full of sh*t. There's no place called Apple Valley & what state did you say it was in?"

 

So I google it and showed him. He lost it. LMAO

 

Exact words: "How did #27 end up in Apple f*ckin Valley, MI?" Yea, he said Michigan. He was so pissed that he wasn't even listenin to me when I said Minnesota!

 

Dude, ya gotta understand. I love my dad dearly. Though after the feelings of satisfying sex & a sub 70 round,the most satisfying felling is humbling my father. I don't look for it, though when it presnts itself, lets just say I'm front and center. LMAO

That's a good story about those irons R.P. Those are really sweet looking irons. I'd love to hit those on the range or on the course but that would be disgraceful to the irons and to the King in a way because us mortals wouldn't be able to game them.

JMHO, however $975 is a rip-off, though I've been known to purchase clubs that were not, shall we say, a great value, though if ya can find the heads out there, you can do it your way for far less, or look and see if any of he other completed sets are on the Bay.

I thought for a limited edition $975 is quite good value, considering there are people who put down thousands for a set of Honma irons.

 

Unfortunately I'm not really a collector, I buy golf clubs solely for the purpose to game them. The set is just too gorgeous to be ruined by my hacking.
