My Bag

The bag is set for the most part for this season, although I have some of the new Adams wedges on the way to me and an original Peanut hybrid that is going to get tested against the Pro Black. I will also more than likely go back to an 8.5* driver in the same head.

Yes, I did the stamping myself, have done a few sets for my members as well.

I see no insert, I believe it is milled.

Milled face, no insert. It does have the tungsten back weight that the other Black Series putters have had.

Pretty. I have just ordered the Adams CB1. I loved the looks of the pro blacks, But I suck at this game, and need a little more help.

Not sure which forging house they use, but I do know that they are firmer than some of the previous irons I have played, I like that feel though. The black finish has held up surprisingly well too.

I am on staff with Adams, a few years ago I would have laughed at that thought, but they are making some great clubs.

I received my original Peanut hybrid head yesterday and was able to throw a shaft in it this morning. I'm waiting for an Oban Devotion hybrid shaft, but had an Epic sitting around and decided to give it a shot in there for now. I wasn't sure if I would be able to take the silver colored crown, but I didn't notice it all that much on the range this afternoon.

I really like those PNT heads. But I'm still messing around trying to find the right shafts for mine.

I had one of the second version PNT2 heads, the one with the black crown and found that it hit a little too high for me. The original is supposed to be a lower spin head, so I will see how it goes once I get it worked into the bag.

Got my 9032LD head in, it's a little deeper faced than the 9032LS, it was designed for the Long Drive Association and is lower spinning than the retail LS head. Tried a side by side shot, can't see the difference in face height too well, but the LD is a few millimeters taller.

Same here! I bought a cheap and nasty Paradise 52* wedge, "Black Chrome" that rubbed off!

The black irons just look great.

Added a 17* Super Hybrid with an HM2 Black Tie Shaft. I'm playing it at 40.5" which is shorter than the standard length for it.

It has knocked the Peanut out of the bag, it plays very close to a fairway wood. I really like the way that it performs off of the fairway. Haven't gotten enough chances to hit it out of longer grass to gauge how it works there.
