z-man
I was reading a post at another forum.. He wanted to know how to get rid of a torched finish. I had torched my 007 many times last year and it was not looking very good. Plus I put it away a little damp and it looked like some rust was forming. So I bead blasted everything but the face. Here it is ..Tell me if you like it or not..Before and after pictures [email protected] or [email protected]

z-man
Morris, This is my favorite mudder putter. I use it whenever the weather is bad. It feels great! [email protected] or [email protected]
Addicted2Golf
This is probably sacrilege, but I like what you did with it. Looks great. How high maintenance is a bead blast finish? Do you have to oil it now? Matt Saternus
I like it very much, especially the fact that the face is a different color than the rest of the putter. Follow me on Twitter: @MattSaternus
z-man
The bead blasted finish is very easy to take care of. If it does get wet clean it off after the round.I like to use a some silicone on all my putters [email protected] or [email protected]

SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 26, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 26, 2010 I like the bead blasting much better than the shiny torch. Keeping the face shiny is nice though will do this for sure if/when I grab a stainless 006 Volvo Intorqueo All the cool kids follow me on twitter: @GolfspyDave If you are not a cool kid, following me on twitter will make you cool... Newbeach
I think it looks great either way. Will have to venture into the world of Byron Morgan putters now as there seems to be alot of good things being said on here.
