Well here are some pics of WIMB. I need some help figuring out a hybrid, lol. I've played the cobra, TM Rescue 11, and RBZ Tour TP's this year but none of them won me over. The last pic is my putter. I've had it for about 22 years and always go back to her. I've just never found another to replace her.

Thanks,

Jason

Turfman,

Welcome to the forum. Looking at your bag, i would suggest an Adams Idea Pro Black 18* or the Mizuno MP FLI HI 18*. I have both and like them a lot, much more than the three you mentioned. Except I have never tried the Cobra.

But the way, I would probably not bet a lot of money with you on the first tee. I see an old putter like that with newer clubs and I am afraid. Relatively new clubs and an old putter is the mark of a man who will probably beat you on the greens.

Thanks, lol. I have my days with the old girl :). As far as hybrids I have been looking at the pro black and the a12 pro.

Turfman,

I will be honest I have the pro A12 in a 20 degree which I like because of the smaller head size. It also has pretty good forgiveness but it really likes to be worked (left or right)Overall I wouldnt say it a superior club but it does get the job done for me. Especially on a long par three or a short par 5.

Dont know if this helps but just my opinion....

Whats in the bag:

Adams 1600 proto 14.5 Graphite Design AD DJ

I have the MP Fli Hi and recently got the Pro Black and it is a great club. I like it much better than say the Rescue 11 which I liked a lot, and the Titleist 909H which I tried very hard to like a lot. The problem with most hybrids for me is they have a lot of left hook in them, and if you let your guard down you will be 40 yards left. The Adams Pro Black is not that way. I have the Green Voodoo shaft SNV8 but I am considering changing to a KBS Hybrid steel shaft.

That's what I've been looking for and after reading the review on here it sounds like a good fit for me. It also has the Altus shaft which is my favorite hybrid shaft.

Thanks

TM, thanx for postin. Nice lookin bag. We got a lot of similarities, lol.

I've got both the black & the 12Pro in my rotation & I really like the 12. Though I do not really curve the ball unless I'm tryin to get outa trouble, I find that I can work the 12 the best of any of my hybrids.

The best in your search

Well Santa was nice to me this year, lol. He brought me a pro a12 in 18* and 20*. Now I need to go hit both of them and figure out if I want to play them both or just one and add another wedge.

Well I hope you all are having a safe and fun holiday season. Take care

What shaft is in them?

I am probably going to reshaft my Pro Black tomorrow with the KBS Hybrid. The Voodoo SNV8 in it is alright but it is nothing extra. I think this could be the best club I ever owned if I can get a better shaft. After hitting the Talamonti and KBS shafts, when I go back to my old shafts they just feel dead. I loved the UST Proforce V2 and Axivcore Reds and the DG TT;s but now, well, not so much.

I have a BiMatrix that will be here, well, it said by the 24th but not here yet, USPS no wonder they are getting their butts kicked. Based on how that feels I may get a pink one for my driver but I am not unhappy with my Talamonti. IT will be in addition to not in lieu of the Talamonti.

They have the Matrix Ozik Altus shaft. I've played this shaft in other hybrids and really like it. If I were to go with a steel shaft it would definitely be the KBS. My friend has the KBS in his 19* XTD and it's really good as well. For me it launches very high and with the xtd head it's ridiculously long. I've actually seen him stop the ball on a really firm green from about 235-240 out. I do not have any experience with the Talamonti or the TT BiMatrix other than reading a few things about them. All in all if I get rid of the altus I would more than likely go with the KBS.

Thanks,

Jason
