jamo
Oooh, I really like the second one, that looks like it would frame the ball very well. Not so crazy about the first one though.
SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 27, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 27, 2010 Not sure... (no not the president in the future) Liked the right one first, but the left one does bring the eye to the club face. Would probably go for all black over both though. Addicted2Golf
Ugh. Why does Taylormade insist on including color and graphics on the crown that are visible at address? Besides, they should have learned their lesson with the CGB Max in regards to using the color red. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 27, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 27, 2010 I am more concerned about the chrome on the left than the red. mudfish
I don't like the first one at all... The second one is nice, and I think it adds just enough color... enough to keep the Taylormade branding, but not too much to be distracting... Addicted2Golf
The shape is good here, I agree. Seems a bit on the huge side, but that may be the graphics That's my exact point on the graphics. All black crowns make any driver look smaller. The last thing you want as a player is the perception that you're swinging 460cc (even though you are). jamo
At least they are getting away from the triangular shape...god i hate that. Never been a fan of taylormade's stuff but the second one isn't bad. They have been softening the triangle for a couple of years now, and it isn't really noticeable at all on the SuperTri. Also, the second one reminds me of the Nike Dymo becuase the Dymo has those little notches in the corners.
TWShoot67
I'm more worried about those Devil horns coming off the sides, that would be weird. Hahahahahaa. Seriously though I don't like either head. CLee177
the one on the right looks like the nike dymo with the red wings there on the side. i think TM needs to be a little more creative with there designs.

Matt Saternus
Assuming those two drivers are the same size, the red notches in the picture on the right go a long way towards making the head appear to be round instead of oblong, which is much more pleasing, IMO. PingManKMB
prefer the 2nd head over the 1st... not a taylormade guy (obviously) so i don't care what they introduce... for all i know they'll introduce both and have another 3 or 4 drivers out that year as well... mcbush25
I'm not a huge fan of the multi colored crown. I think they should stick with one color on the crown as I feel that adding multiple colors would be slightly distracting.
