Strong rumours over here that Nike are buying Callaway anyone heard that story over in the US ? The source was from a worker at Callaway

With Cally & Nike development going in different directions, I don't think we will see this marriage anytime soon.

I don't know about that... Callaway is reporting a raise in sales and their first profits for over four years...

 

Why would a company on the rise want to sell out? Theyre finally doing something right

Sure that worker wasn't just playing a joke? Can't see that happening as many have said too many things happening for the good in the Callaway camp, with better best year in who knows when??? Cally looking better and better all the time and with New APEX iron line and from what everyone has been talking about the New Big Bertha or should I say "Driver B" which will blow everyone's mind with crazy tech..... being able to raise and lower CG( at least that's what Phil said on GC. Just too much good happening for Cally right now to sell, plus they have that 5 year plan to overtake #1 Taylormade.....
