Ok....got my email from Wilson Golf. That's the good news. The bad news is that it seems what I've won is my selection of whatever they have left from last year's models....and they've told me there are few selections left.

Not to be too negative...but the prize was listed at a $200 value, and those fybrids from last year are at $49.99.

Well we were not told that these would be left overs that is for sure.

Although all the products we had in the contest in regards to cost were the MSRP pricing for the product. So at the time we began this contest that was the MSRP for that product.

I will email them today about the leftover issue.

Sorry to create an issue....and I fully understand the MSRP part of it. I'd like to post the messages I've gotten from them on here, but I don't want to create any issues between you and them. Yet...I feel maybe I should, in the vein of letting it all be in the open and letting everyone judge for themselves.

Let me know how you'd like me to do it....but I definitely think it would be helpful for you to see the messages I got.

Maybe I'll send them in a PM, and let you decide, lol.

PM sent.

Again, sorry to maybe create an issue......but I felt it needed to be made known. It kinda just seems more like a random door prize of whatever they have left over from last year. I would hope that they'd have realized a site or forum specifically dedicated to golf and golf equipment would draw a bit more dedicated and educated golfer.

It's not like I can really use a ladies left handed 37* hybrid, lol. :D (just a joke...it wasn't quite that bad)

Ok....and to kinda roast myslef, I give you this:

:D

A Kansas farm wife called the local

phone company to report her telephone failed to ring when her friends called - and that on the few occasions, when it did ring, her dog always moaned right before the phone rang.

The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile lady. He climbed a telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the subscriber's house.

The phone didn't ring right away, but then the dog moaned and the telephone began to ring.

Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:

1 . The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire with a steel chain and collar.

2. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose.

3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the number was called.

4.. After a couple of jolts, the dog would start moaning and then urinate.

5. The wet ground would complete the circuit, thus causing the phone to ring.

Which demonstrates that some problems CAN be fixed by

pissing and moaning.

I too got my Wilson E-mail, and they never asked which number wood I wanted. Maybe I missed it on the contest prize page if it specified, but a 5 or 7 wood would be next to useless because I don't carry either, where a 3 wood could fight for a spot in my bag. They just asked me whether I wanted stiff or regular. I'm not trying to complain, a free club is a free club, but if I get a 5 wood or a 7 wood, I'm going to sell it, something I didn't really want to do.

It actually was specified as "and your very own FYbrid 5 wood that he used to win the British Open!” but I spoke to Wilson today and have gotten back to me and said they have taken care of NGage with his request for a 3wd. Doing our best t have them take care of you.

None of us have heard from Cleveland and they were a big part of this. I'm assuming that we will be able to specify lofts, shaft flex, shaft length, etc. before they ship us anything.

I have heard from Byron and we're trading emails. No issues there.

Head from Wilson, mine shipped today, and Never Compromise, and will have the putter next Wednesday!!! The guy from Never Compromise was very nice, and answered a bunch of questions before we settled on everything.

I got emails from them. They've decided to give me your prizes. B)

And then you woke up.

Actually, Byron got in touch and kicked it in gear. Kudos to Steve for giving me a little extra attention. As I told him yesterday, I've never ordered a putter in my life. I've owned a mix of Scottys, Pings, and a Rife and they have all been bought off the shelf so this is a new experience. Pretty cool stuff.
