Thanks TW I've been waiting for this post. See there you go Jiyai's longest iron in the bag is a 6 iron although it must be bent to high heavens to cover the gap to her 23 degree hybrid.

 

I also couldn't tell if she was using 825 pros or 53's so was anxious to find out if I could tell the difference on tv (I thought they were 53's.)

 

I maintain that many of us (not all - there are certainly some guys here with higher clubhead speeds) should look to the equipment used by the LPGA players (not brand - type) for clues as to our set make up - shaft type, etc.

I hear ya. I'm seriously considering replacing my 5 iron with the 27Ëš 910H. For me, it's going to come down to accuracy and holding the green.

I think it's much easier to hold a green with a hybrid than a 5 iron BK - I'm going to play some holes with those e6's today - good test - same course a played a couple of weeks back with the e5's. Same wind, the greens on this course don't hold well anyway this time of year so it's a good test.
