Love it when it goes to a playoff. But last year's was incredible for excitement. Louis' albatross, then Bubba's hook shot in the playoff? Wow.

 

But Adam winning is great. Angel winning would have been cool too. May not get another chance!

 

Both of them are such nice guys! Hated for either one of them to miss out on it.

1. Happy for Adam, great tourney. Tiger was a distraction, IMO.

2. Really enjoy the fact that all past winners get an invite. Get to see Ben, Tom and all the other old guys, and with his 2nd place finish, Angel 269th in the world will now play all the other majors. I never used to like this form Augusta National, but really enjoy this now. I think I enjoyed listening to Ben Crenshaw as much as anything.

Adam Scott moves from 7 to 3 in the OWGR.

 

Tiger Woods is the first person that the 33-7 rule is utilized to benefit.

 

The low am is the youngest ever at the Masters (and the only one to make the cut) and draws the first slow play penalty since 1995.

 

Tiger's former caddy, Steve Williams has as many major victories as he does.

 

The long putter (broom stick and belly both fall into this category) completed the career grand slam in just 3 years.

 

Yep, that about sums it up... LOL. Banning anchoring was first, now they'll ban the putter all together.

Fun tournament to watch, although I could have done without the rain today. It's fun to watch them deal with the elements, but just like playing, its better to watch in good conditions! So much for my rip on Scott's putter! I thought he'd given it away with the flatstick several times, but in the end it won it for him!

Oh and just as a side note, seeing as a kid 20yrs my junior just made the cut, I see no reason to pick up my clubs ever again. Lol. I've done all I can and hopefully my unborn child whenever he or she is born can pick up the torch.

Was great, and I swear I thought in the playoff Adam had no shot vs the crafty, unflapable vet Angel! I mean that guy plays like he's got nothing to live for. He was so close, and he seems to just play the majors. He should be invited to every Major no matter his ranking. Loved seeing all the old guys in the mix early.

 

My dark horse was Jason Day, and damn he came close, but WTG Adam Scott!!! Great win, and he sure as hell worked hard for it and deserved it!!

How great was it to see two gentlemen go out and play to win in that play off? I don't mean the gentlemen comment as a sleight against the rest of the field, but Angel's thumbs up to a Scott was pretty cool to see on the second playoff hole, and not what you would expect from two people trying to win the masters!

I thoroughly enjoyed that final 9 holes plus the playoff!
