SPY VIP GolfSpy_X Posted March 31, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 31, 2010 And the ultra-light technology continues with the Wilson Shockwave driver being introduced to the European Market. Driver weighs 295 grams...20 grams lighter then the Wilson Smooth Driver. Quote #TruthDigest
SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 31, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 31, 2010 A little more in your face than the smooth... I like it. Does the "K" graphic represent impact? SPY VIP GolfSpy_X Posted March 31, 2010 Author SPY VIP Share Posted March 31, 2010 Would have to contact my Wilson sources to find out the answer but I would think this is just a representation of a shockwave moving through the air. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 31, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 31, 2010 It's hard to tell direction with the K. The straight part could be the club face with the curve being the ball. Waves move out round edge first though, so that would seem backward. As a graphic for graphic's sake, I like it for some reason. Could also be driver face and the two possible ball flights, up above the wave letters (good) or down under the wave (bad) Quote Volvo Intorqueo All the cool kids follow me on twitter: @GolfspyDave If you are not a cool kid, following me on twitter will make you cool... Dave
Looks ok from the bottom. Another club from the longer, lighter is better category. Be interesting to see an address pic. Quote I have a revolving WITB policy.

Addicted2Golf
I think Wilson has been putting out some great product in recent years. A VERY underrated company in my opinion. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted April 1, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted April 1, 2010 Got a 2 pack of C:25 balls today. FG tours were nice, I can't wait to play these. JohnBarry
Wilson, have to hand it to them, they have been making a push as of late, just need Paddy to the Masters, and I think all their marketing efforts would take off! If they had a few more name players in their stable -- or even a more non-name players -- they'd probably do better. Right or wrong, tour play does help dictate sales. JohnBarry
Maybe a Master's win would do it. I swear someone else that has won in the last 2 years is playing Wilson also. Charlie Hoffman? You are right, but I find it highly ironic. The probability is that the equipment used on tour is the last thing the average golfer should be carrying.
