SHOW OFF! - How Do You Mark Your Balls?

I mark mine with 3 dots (big enough to fill the dimple) to the right of the number.

I go with a red dot and yellow dot to the right of the number on the ball (both sides). I also highlight the putting aid line with red to help with alignment.

It is not how you mark your golf ball but how you mark your TITLEIST. Since no one else mentioned it i though I would say it. I mark mine exactly like my dad did 5 or 6 dots around the number in both sides. He preferred #1s I prefer 6 7 or 8. That is a story within itself but I will play any number as long as it is a Titleist.

I typically just hit the ball on the first hole and let a cart path or tree decide where to mark it.

i also circle the number. my fav number is 3 because if i shoot 3 on every hole ill wld hv shot 54

Being as Dru is my nick name, and I am a huge Atlanta Falcons fan, I use a Red Sharpie, and draw a small greek letter Delta above the ball model label.

I turn the chevron on a callaway into a peace sign, and extend the alignment stamp on both sides just a bit. If its not a callaway, I circle the numbers. Blue, always.

One Yellow dot just below/left of the number. I really like a clean, unmarked ball, and find that the least obtrusive.

Light blue sharpie and I put a smiley face on each side. Put's me in a good mood before each shot

I mark mine with a green J and a purple Z. My kids initials and favorite colors. Also put a line for putting.

I write a 7 to the left of the ball number...one day I might actually shoot a 71, 72, 73 or 74.

Wow, great thread....This one started before I'd found MGS and was just learning how to manuever on a computer...Not that I've come very far since then..lol...Anyway, I use a Sharpie fine pink paint pen(Breat Cancer)...On my Bridgestones, I put three dots(The Holy Trinity) pyrimid style opposite Tour B330-S & if I'm playin V1xs,it's opposite the Pro V1x...

No kidding I do the same thing with my red sharpie. Three dots in a triangle on the unstamped side of the ball.
